Parts of this family-run hotel date to the 14th century, so you are in for a treat if you stay here. It's close to the Markt, but removed from the busy bedlam of that central square. We received a friendly welcome, a great breakfast buffet--with the egg preparation of our choice--was served each morning. Given its central location, wonderful medieval...

We used this hotel for an overnight stop on our way to Germany. In advance of our stay we found reception to be very helpful with prompt and helpul responses to our emails. It is extremely convenient for all of the main sights, yet was easily accessible by car. Of great benefit for us was the secure overnight parking which...

Clean, quiet hotel just off the main square. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was very good (pastries, eggs, toast, cereal, fruit etc). Good value for money. We stayed over Easter and the road was quiet.

A lovely hotel just 600m north of the main square. Really lovely staff and a superb breakfast, all a reasonable price compared with the extreme expense of everything else in Bruges. My only complaint is that the connecting door between the superb rooms 21 and 22 lets every sound through, so you can hear every word or noise that is...

Very central location. Very clean and quiet. Great breakfasts in the morning. Clean and welcoming. Our room was at the top of a very tight and narrow stairway but we got used to that quickly. English speaking staff and they arranged transport for us with ease.

Close to the old town square in Bugge/Brures it is within walking distance from the main train station. The bath room is very clean and is of proper size. Breakfast is served betweem 08:00 and 10:00, come early and come

Hotel Boterhuis is ideally situated for access to all the best places in Bruges being just a short walk from the main square (Markt) The hotel is of period design but has modernised without ruining it's charm. Room 20 offers a great room with a very modern ensuite built in, best of both worlds. Despite it's size it is well...

We stayed for one night with two children three and five years of age. We were welcomed warmly. The hotel has many stairs and may not be suitable for all travellers. The room was fine, the bathroom had a big bathtub with shower and a double sink. There were no parking spaces available and we took about thirty minutes of...

It's not often that you find staff at a hotel so bought in to the business but everyone we dealt with at Hotel Boterhuis was magnificent. They were friendly and accommodating and couldn't do enough to make our stay a pleasure. They even did our laundry for a very reasonable fee. When we turned up we found that they had...
