A great location hotel in the heart of Bruges. Average hotel with dated decor and slightly grubby with hairs found all around the bathroom. On entering and exiting the hotel we saw rats on numerous occasions, however this might be normal due to the large amount of canals.

dear, since 24 years we live in Bruges and never saw any rats! Very funny you saw plenty of them. When you booked the hotel you could see our "dated" decoration and still you reserved, yes it is dated but isn't that normal in a old house in a old place? As of the hairs you find i can asure...

We stayed in this hotel on the way back to UK from our holiday after we had missed our channel tunnel train. We made the booking on the last minute therefore arrived hotel around 11.00pm. We booked a family room with breakfast assuming that the breakfast would be served by 7.00 am as the majority of the hotels do. But...

dear, once again; everything is mentioned on the website (that you should read before making a reservation) check in before 22.00 o'clock, breakfast between 08.00 and 10.00 o'clock. Also on arrival you can see the hours of breakfast and with reservation you can pick with or without breakfast. In all the hotels breakfast is from 8.00 or even 8.30 served,...

Spent 2 days at this hotel. Amazing locality, nice, clean and cozy rooms. Great owner, very helpful. Breakfast - wide choice, fresh and delicious food. Amazing view from the room, quiet place for sleeping. Highly recommended

Very helpful owners, comfortable beds, good breakfasts, and a quiet neighbourhood very close to city centre. Nothing was too much trouble, particularly moving my mother-in-law down to a first floor room. Long discussions with the owners about the history of the building.

We had the duplex room since it was the only available when we booked. The "room" was in fact a small apartment on 2 floors with several sofas, a very nice bathroom, and free coffee and tea. Access to a very nice garden with chairs and tables. Good bed and a very welcoming lady.

We didn't heed reviews when we stayed here and it literally ruined our time in Brugge. The room at the very top was hard to get to (lots of stairs, no help with luggage etc.) but nice views from the windows, and it was ok, the bed wasn't comfortable and the shower would get the entire bathroom wet. The location...

dear, i really don't know if you stayed in our hotel, the owners arent "middleaged people" as you mentioned. A lot of people from the US visit our hotel and never they have complains. The rooms on the top floor (if it's here) are brandnew and everybody likes them. Iff you leave anything in the hotel and we find it...

This is the perfect hotel in Brugge. It is very close to the centre of old town (2 min walking). This makes it a very quiet hotel as it is not in the centre. It is a family business and staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was terrific. There is also a parking lot, if you book in...

I visited Hotel Asiris with my girlfriend for a little weekend city break, for two nights in mid June 2016. The main reasons for choosing the hotel were the fact the price could not be argued against in relations to other, maybe more central hotels. And the fact that there was local parking for my car. We drove here from...

We stayed there for 2 nights and totally loved the experience. We stayed in the outhouse duplex which was nicely appointed. The ground floor was little packed but the upstairs was spacious and the place to be. The breakfast had variety and most of it was home cooked/baked - a must have if you stay here. The hosts were very...

We had a great stay at Hotel Asiris. The owners are very friendly and the breakfast is amazing! The hotel rooms are quite spacious and feel very cosy. The location is great, everything is short stroll away. We would definitely stay again if we get the chance!
