We had a wonderful time in Bruges, enhanced by our exceptional host Emmanuel. Nothing was too great an ask, the breakfast was absolutely superb (one of the best I've had in Europe!!!). We stayed in Bruges over the weekend of the cycle and he prepared us fully for what we should do on each day (given how busy it would...

Stayed two nights in the Silver Silk suite, I think it was called. Upon arrival, the proprietor meets you with a box of amazing chocolates and invites you to sit down while he explains the lay out of the town and points out any attractions you may be seeking. The suite itself is impeccably clean, with extremely spacious bathroom and...

Apart form lacking a kettle which us Brits do like, the overnight stay was perfect. Lovely premise, and fantastic breakfast. Very attentive and helpful owner Emmanual. Definitely recommend.

Excellent fourstar guesthouse in a really nice part of Bruges. My wife and I were made more than welcome from the time we arrived. Nothing too much trouble, excellent breakfasts, lovely atmospheric rooms, wonderful place to stay and explore. Yes, we will return!

We had a very nice room and Emanuelle went out of his way to help make our short stay great. He served a very nice breakfast complete with scrambled eggs and lots of cheeses, a nice fruit platter and breads.

Our recent stay at Maison le Dragon was simply the best lodging experience my wife and I have every had. All of the superlatives from other reviews are very accurate - so I won't repeat everything - but the 16th century home, the breakfast, and the proprietor (Emanuel) were all outstanding. I could not have imagined a more enjoyable visit...

I and two friends had the extreme pleasure recently of staying in the stunning one bedroom suite (including an outdoor deck) at the Maison le Dragon Guesthouse. From start to finish, the experience was nothing less than magical. The 16th century guesthouse has been beautifully and tastefully restored. Every room is absolutely gorgeous. The location is perfect. Our host, Emmanuel,...

We spent a great 2 nights at the Maison le Dragon in Bruges. We stayed there for the weekend before Valentine's Day so we did not have a choice of rooms (there are only 4), but the "blue room" was lovely, with a modern shower, jacuzzi bath and large, comfortable bed. The complimentary minibar is a nice touch for a...

...and nothing much to add :-) This is really a perfect address if you're looking for a cosy and confortable place to visit Bruges. The location is excellent - right in the historical center, the rooms and bathroom are beautiful and clean, and service couldn't be any better: friendly, giving all the explanation you need, one of the best breakfasts...

This review is long overdue as my husband and I stayed with Emmanuel - 'Manu' in December 2011. My Dad and his wife have been going to Bruges for 5 years and stay at Maison le Dragon every time. We had heard nothing but praise for Manu, his hospitality and his beautiful b&b so after a busy few months at...
