We recently spent 3 days at the Hotel Alegria and hated to leave. Everything was perfect....our room, the breakfasts, the owners. A very special thank you to Veronique for helping me when I needed a doctor. She was able to get me in to see her doctor right away and he was wonderful to both myself and my husband (a...

Fantastic welcome with advice, local discounts and support throughout our stay. Beautiful, comfortable room and a great location - highly recommended. Would also suggest making the most of the great coffee shop (I Love Espresso) just down the street and enjoying a drink in the nearby square later in the evening - loads of lovely spots to choose from.

I visited with a large party for my friend's birthday weekend and Veronique could not have done more for us. She greats her guests with such warmth and generosity and the rooms and breakfast are great quality too. The outside space is also a delight to sit in. The hotel is in a prime location, just a short walk to...

This hotel offers everything you could want. The owner is very warm and friendly, and the accommodation clean and comfortable. A buffet breakfast sets you up for a day exploring the city, for which the hotel is perfectly placed. It offers limited private parking, or there is a car park within a minute's walk.

From the start (arrival), the treatment was super friendly and helpful. Tips, suggestions, guides, etc. etc. was top notch. Rooms were big and beautiful (had a 3 bed room). Beds were comfortable (would suggest adding a couple of thinner pillows though, for us who like thinner pillows), bathroom was big and nice. Everything was clean and tidy, beautifully illuminated rooms....

Super family run hotel. Warm welcome with advice on places to visit. The hotel was very clean. Very near to centre withou being 'in the centre' with parking very close by. There was a good continental breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice, cold meat, cheese, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, bread and croissants.

Even though we arrived on the wrong date (!), the staff at this hotel were friendly and accommodating. We had a beautiful room with excellent facilities. Breakfast was good and we were able to park our car in the hotel garage.

We arrived in the evening to a very warm welcome and lots of information, plus a map given to aid orientation to Bruges. Our room was basic, plain, but comfortable, and clean. Beds, spare pillows, hairdryer, comfy chairs, large cupboard on the floor and tall wardrobe, TV, kettle and fridge. For visitors from the UK, BBC was on the TV....

We arrived late when the reception was closed. We got a call so we knew the code to enter and were told the keys to our room would be waiting when we got inside. Well arranged. The room itself was clean, had a good bed and an excellent bathroom. Breakfast is included and serves as a perfect start of the...
