This was our first trip abroad with our 6 month old springer spaniel, Bonnie (Many said it would be our last). Naturally, travelling with pets means a restricted selection of hotels, but you have to remember that in Europe, travelling with pets is a lot more common than the UK , and not purely for eccentrics. So, we came across... More

The reception staff at Jan Brito were very friendly and personally showed us to our room on arrival. We stayed in room 4 and it was a good sized room with nice decor. We liked that there was free wi-fi and also that the safe inside the room was included. The only weirdness was that despite the size of the... More

The hotel didn't disappoint us as a venue to celebrate our wedding anniversary. As a lovely welcoming touch a card from the staff was left in our room. The hotel was beautiful and the staff could not have been more welcoming. Our knight bedroom was quaint and in keeping with being in Bruges. The breakfast was to die for! It... More

The Jan Brito is one of those places that we keep going back to, I think we are on our fourth visit , and will always rave to our friends about. The hotel is situated less than 5 minutes from the Guildhall square and a good base to explore Brugges from. We always park at the railway station, as its... More

Stay at Hotel Jan Brito June 2011. Booked a package deal: Eurostar with hotel. Our room was clean, wooden beams on ceiling, nice wooden furniture and most important for me a clean bathroom with shower. Staff pleasant and helpful, one night I brought a bottle of wine back to our room, it was not chilled so I asked if we... More

We stayed two nights on our second visit to the Jan Brito. We had the Maids Room on the 2nd floor, accessible by lift or stairs. It was a very small but comfortable room with a bar fridge, large flat screen TV with some English channels, and good wifi. Parking is available nearby for E8.70 per 24hrs. It is a... More

We decided on the Jan Brito for a 3 night stay in Bruges after reading many reviews and everything was as expected. We had requested one of the Knights rooms in the annexe and it was perfect for us - fairly compact but tastefully decorated, clean and cosy. The breakfast room is a beautifully renovated space with lovely windows looking... More

Our party of 4 stayed at the Jan Brito for 4 nights in April in rooms 3 and 4. both rooms were clean and very comfortable, infact we overslept the first night and were late to meet our friends for breakfast!!! We found all the staff extremely helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. As for breakfast, what a delight,... More

Jan Brito is a lovely, charming hotel with so much character. Perfect for a weekend break. Great location with everything a stone's throw away. The breakfasts were great with everything you could have wanted. The rooms were very comfortable. We stayed in one of the Knights rooms and although slightly smaller had everything we needed. My only criticism was when... More
