This is a gem of a hotel with a lot of old world charm and is perfect for a romantic getaway. The location could not be better as it's right in the centre of town and only a stone's throw away from the Markt. The staff could not have been more helpful and really helped us when we needed travel...

A small, but extremely charming hotel in Bruges. Customer service was fantastic, and they let us use their telephone to call the Bruges Ballooning company to confirm our reservation for the next day (it was cancelled due to poor weather). Small bathroom, but it was fine for one night. The room decor was beautiful. The breakfast buffet the next morning...

A really lovely traditional hotel in a great location. Only a couple minutes walk away from the centre of Bruges. The Buffet breakfast had a wide selection of nice food. Breakfast room overlooked a beautiful courtyard. Rooms were pleasant and staff were really helpful and spoke excellent English. Overall a really pleasant stay and would highly recommend. If you're taking...

I loved this place. It was beautifully decorated. I had a charming single room where old ceiling beams poked out of the ceiling. The bed was so comfy, with a fluffy duvet. The bathroom was huge and modern. The buffet breakfast had a wide selection of yummy food. The desk staff were extremely helpful and kind. The ladies in the...

A lovely 16th century family hotel, one minutes' walk from the centre of Bruges, it has a real fire in the bar, breakfast buffet with both continental and hot food, seats overlooking a bright courtyard (possibly Italianate design). The staff were really helpful too.

Stayed here over New Years in the maids room, nice and cosy rooms with all the amenities needed. Location is perfect just 2 mins walk from main street that leads down to markt square. Breakfast was amazing, lots of choices. Bar downstairs is very classy and a nice place to warm up after walking bruges. Nice garden out the back....

First impressions of the hotel were charming and quaint in a fantastic location - close to the train station (15 min walk), main marketplace (10min walk) and some great restaurants. I have to admit I was slightly disappointed when shown our room (Baroness) as the decor - although authentic and beautiful - was a tad on the shabby side although...

The Jan Brito is a great location: it's close to the main squares, but not too close; it's quiet; the staff are great; the breakfasts are plentiful; the rooms are charming. It is not the largest or grandest of hotels but it is well thought out as a conversion of a former town house that itself grew out of three...

We stayed for 4 nights on 14th December so right near Christmas which was lovely, as the hotel and the city itself was just magical with all it's trees, lights and decorations. Stayed in room 16 which I think was the Knight room. Great big bed and pretty much everything you could want... except a kettle! I was very ill...

We stayed at the hotel during December as a last weekend away before our first child was born. The hotel is clean and tidy but fairly basic and is more like a B&B than hotel. We stayed in the baroness room Pros: Good location, large clean room and nice sized bathroom, although no hotel parking there is underground parking nearby...
