Still close but conveniently off the markt, this place has a romantic feel and great view over the canal. Nice rooms, only disappointing was the breakfast, found it a bit basic for this category of hotel

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Ter Brughe, it was a lovely old hotel with nice wooden beams and overlooking a canal. It was very clean and the staff are helpful. The only reason I don't give it 5 is the lack of shower, only a bath. I would definitely stay here again.

Dear Guest We thank you for your review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Maybe we can welcome you another time in the future! Please note that it is mentioned very clearly in every description that taking a shower is not possible (due to age and structure of the building). Kind regards Hotel Ter Brughe

Superior room is tiny. Had to check it was correct. View is a wall. There is no bar. Service was not brilliant and car park charges are high. This is my 5th time in the city and this hotel is not recommended. Hotel held the cost of my room for over a week after check out. As well as charging...

We stayed at Hotel Ter Brughe for a few days to check out Bruges in winter and were pretty happy with our choice. The walk from the train station to the hotel gives you a fantastic opportunity to orient yourself around the city and get a quick glance at some of the fantastic sights of the city and the hotel...

Very nice, peaceful canal side location in the St Giles district of the old city, ten minutes walk from the main square (Markt) The building is old and atmospheric and our rooms (two couples) were atmospheric, beamed, comfortable and spacious. Both were canal view rooms and it is worth paying the small premium in our opinion. No shower cubicles in...

This is a great place to stay when visiting Bruges. It's canal-side location is is just a few minutes walk from the Market Square, restaurants and shops, but is in a quiet neighbourhood away from the noise and bustle of the town. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the general level of service was discreet and almost understated. That...

This Hotel looks totally in keeping with the old style Bruges architecture and has great charm. It's quiet but close to the Market Centre and shops. Friendly efficient service and quaint breakfast area. We had a room overlooking the canal which was great.

I stayed here with a friend for two nights and there's not really anything bad I can say about the hotel. The staff were friendly, hotel was clean, rooms were spacious and bathroom was a good size. The beds were really comfy and the view from our room was lovely! Location wise it isn't bad at all, we got a...

We loved our stay at Hotel Ter Brughe. Great room, comfy bed. Amazing breakfast and friendly staff. Really great to be able to use the safe garage for our car at a small cost. Great location to the city and very lovely staff.

This is an ideal base for a visit. It's only 5-10 minutes walk to the main attractions in the centre of Bruges, but on a quiet canal side. Historic building, so no lift but we made it up flights of stairs to 2nd floor. Good bathroom (shower attachment on bath - not separate cubicle). Safe and fridge in room. Staff...
