The best location in Bruges, perhaps the best building serving as a hotel, with really friendly staff and fabulous rooms. We loved the original artworks, including a Monet, the cosiest breakfast room with canal views and open fire, the big towels, and don't miss the breakfast. Who needs lunch after a four course breakfast of fruit and cheese, cold meats,...

Such a wonderful hotel! Booked Bruges for a romantic weekend away, the hotel was perfect for that! Very luxurious and nothing was too much trouble for the staff! Lovely breakfast with wide variety of buffet cold items, hot eggs and waffles! I would happily recommend to anyone!

We stayed at this hotel for a midweek city break in Bruges. The hotel is located next to the canal and off the road so it is really quiet. The whole hotel is very tastefully decorated and the decor is in sympathy with the age and style of the building. All the staff we met, could not have been more...

We stayed in this beautiful hotel during our winter European trip. Our room was well appointed, clean and cosy with beautiful linens, marble bathroom and view of the canal to boot. The hotel is quaint and well situated - it is a short walk to all the main attractions within the town and less than a 10 minute cab ride...

Where to start from? The Hotel is a 15th century historic building, it is decorated in the best possible way. Staying there is like going back in time and allows you to really get the feeling of Brugge! The room was very clean and luxurious. Everything very comfortable. The staff was very caring and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic - great...

We booked this hotel for a weekend escape after a business trip in Paris and were so delighted with it. The room was beautifully decorated and well appointed with bathrobes, modern heat and AC, a huge tub and charming windows. Surprisingly soundproof for a building that old! What really sets this hotel apart is the staff. Friendly doesn't begin to...

Perfect in every way: the staff (delightful and helpful), the building itself (old yet with every modern comfort), the location (canal-side and not on a road, walking distance to the main sights), the breakfasts (more then ample).

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in Bruges, and this hotel was one of the main reasons. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable regarding restaurants or places to visit, and the accommodations were everything we hoped they would be. From coffee in the morning to water at the end of the night, all of our needs were met....
