Hotel's Favourite
I cannot speak highly enough of this amazing hotel. The location is stunning, the hotel itself exquisite.. but what sets this place apart is the staff. I only intended to visit Bruges the once but after I stayed here in 2018 I now return to Bruges a couple of times a year just to enjoy this beautiful experience. The staff are the best I’ve ever met, anywhere at anytime. You can tell from the first greeting that you enjoying your stay is at the heart of what matters to them! Febrina is an absolute star and it was great to see Maroof and Isabel again. New staff members were also very helpful. There’s customer service then there’s above and beyond. The latter is what you get staying here. I truly feel it is a honour and a privilege to be a guest at Relais Bourgondische Cruyce.
Working in a challenging and demanding job means that trips away make such a huge difference. Work life balance is incredibly important and my trips here always leave me feeling restored. As a Clinical Psychologist I often speak about the need to hold onto the important moments amidst the chaos and stress of life and some of my special and treasured moments have been here! I cannot wait to return, again and again! Thank you to all for a perfect stay

If you are looking for the perfect boutique hotel then look no further, this is simply stunning, not only is it perfectly located in central Bruges and within walking distance, the views are gorgeous, the decor is beautiful and the staff make you feel like you are the only guests staying. Our room was beautifully clean, the bed so comfortable and we loved the vintage Louis Vuitton chest in our room, although I did stub my toe on it at 3am and broke a beautifully manicured toe nail....we loved how the hotel offer free tea and coffee through out the day and you can ring down in the morning for freshly brewed tea to be delivered to your room. Very good selection for breakfast and they even make you fresh waffles. This is one hotel that I felt special to stay in....

First time visiting Belgium. Brugge is a quaint small town with that old-school Euro feel. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk through cobblestone streets from the train station (advice, take the cab for about 15 Euros). The hotel is tricky to find, but the front desk check in was smooth and every employee we encountered here was very friendly. We splurged on the larger king room and it was worth it as it had ample space for two people + luggage. The bathroom was large enough and modern. The room was very clean upon check-in. This was on the more pricey side, so just a heads up on that front.
The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the main square where there is everything you wanna see and do. It's great small town and definitely worth a visit.

This hotel is the perfect place to stay while in Bruges. It enjoys a stunning location overlooking the most photographed part of the city known as the Rozenhoedkaal or Quay Of The Rosary right where two canals meet and only 5 mins walk from the Markt and the Burgh. Whilst its in the very centre of the city it enjoys a quiet setting as its accessed by a narrow street with no traffic so apart from the odd duck quacks its very quiet at night!
The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout and the bed rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. The breakfast room which over looks the canal is amazing and the food is excellent.
I can't say enough good things about the hotel staff as they are all so friendly and helpful and will do everything they can to make your stay as memorable as possible.
In summary this is one the best hotels I have ever stayed in and absolutely lives up to the positive reviews you see on Trip Adviser.

Amazing and most wonderful. My husband and I spent 5 most amazing nights at Relais Bourgondisch Cruyce. We stayed in the room that looked onto the canal and can be seen in the famous photo. It was more than we could have hoped it to be on our trip. The staff went out of their way to see to meet every request in this small luxury hotel. The breakfast was unbelievable (even quail eggs) white tablecloths... the best of the very best. And, looking around the breakfast room EVERY ONE was thoroughly enjoying themselves. The hotel is beautifully decorated. Lots of original art from many famous artists hung on the walls. We felt very COVID safe. The room was extremely quiet - the windows must be soundproof. We didn't hear noise from within the hotel or outside of the hotel. The location is close to the museums. We walked everywhere. Great location. Lots to see and do in Brugge. I wished we could have stayed here longer.

This was our seventh visit to the hotel in 10 years. It is always an exceptional stay. The staff are the main selling point, incredibly welcoming, friendly and kind. The hotel itself is utterly beautiful, the picture postcard shot of Bruges, but idyllic inside - incredibly comfortable and stunning rooms, hours having a gorgeous view of the canal. It’s also very centrally located no more than 10 minutes walk from just about anything… If you go to Bruges you should stay here!

We spent three nights at this lovely, charming hotel. We truly did not want to leave. This historic hotel sits quietly on the corner of a canal, just steps away from all the main attractions. The hotel is beautiful and we loved our room which looked out on the canal. It was thoughtfully decorated and had a large modern bathroom with an interesting antique wooden door. Little touches such as bathrobes and a magnified mirror were appreciated.
The dining room (which is lovely) looks out on the canal, offers a wonderful breakfast each morning. There are a wide selection of cheeses, meats, breads and croissants, fruits and juices and, of course, coffee and tea. If you wish, scrambled eggs and bacon, as well as Belgium waffles (the best in our opinion) are also offered.
As lovely as this property is, it is the staff who made our stay so remarkable. This is a family owned hotel and they truly care about the hotel and their guests. The staff at the front desk are so warm and welcoming, and helpful in any way they can be. The dining room wait staff are friendly and efficient, and the maids are friendly and efficient as well. We felt like valued guests every moment we were there.
Bruges is truly a fairytale city and the Relais Bourgondisch Cruyce is a fairytale hotel that made a long time anniversary celebration one of our most memorable ever.

Possibly the most helpful staff of any hotel anywhere. We accidentally arrived at a neighboring hotel and when the mistake was realized our luggage was taken to the new location, no fuss at all. The smell of lilies as you walk into the small reception was immediately noticeable and illustrated the attention to detail. The room was lovely and the location overlooking a canal was wonderful. Breakfast was sufficient and in a room which almost gave the impression you were eating on a boat. There was nothing to criticize during our stay and we’d happily go back.

Very picturesque hotel- excellent location in the center of everything!! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Loved the breakfast- i had the BEST waffle I have ever eaten. Our room was perfect with a very comfortable bed and the bathroom had a great shower with everything we needed. Highly recommend, We had drinks each night in the restaurant by the canal and were fortunate enough to meet the proprietor. He was very kind and friendly, and made us all feel very welcome and appreciated.

If only more hotels were like this! Excellent service, fresh, amazing quality breakfast (make sure you book your stay direct as if you do the breakfast is included in the price). We had the best waffle during our stay in Bruges right here at breakfast (we tried others whilst in the city, but they honestly did not compare).
We stayed in Room 10, a gorgeous oak panelled room, which was the room ‘In Bruges’ was filmed in (my partner’s favourite film) it had a huge bed, quality bed linen, towels and products in the gorgeous marble bathroom.
The hotel, which overlooks the canal, forms one of the most photographed parts of Bruges. The location is fabulous, a stone’s throw from the main square. If we find ourselves back in the city, there will be no other choice of where to stay.
There were a few things that stood out…. how the hotel is decorated; from the antique LV travel trunks, original artwork, to the beautiful rugs on the floors. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff could not have done more, we were made to feel at home and that nothing was too much trouble and of course the breakfast (one of the best I have had in continental Europe).
And one final thing, another nice touch was that there was no tea or coffee in the room… when you wanted it (at anytime of the day or night) it would be hand made / delivered to your room (free of course)… just such amazing service.

The staff are super attentive and will bring you anything 24/7.
Regarding the bed, all of our rooms are equipped with a double bed so no twin bed or extra bed. Standard rooms has a queen bed (160*200cm) and all other room has a king bed (180*200cm)
Yes indeed, we have 2 elevators.
If you would like to make this reservation, we recommend going to our website and book the room there. This way, we offer free breakfast during your whole stay (normally €19 per person and per day.
Yes they do, and I can recommend the waffles at Breakfast
