This was a special occasion for my wife. I regard the hotel as standard 3 star quality. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room had all the necessary facilities for what was a 3 night stay. It would have been nice to have had some English TV but we were out most of the time. The weather was very... More

Lace hotel is fine, nothing amazing about it but it is inexpensive, close to all the attractions and decent value for money, if you want 4 or 5 star service and rooms then pay for it, if you want somewhere to sleep after a long day then lace hotel is good enough for me

rooms are very small and sparse, reminded me of staying in a student house. clean enough though and very handily placed. staff are nice enough and the breakfast was decent. Bathrooms appear to be pre-fabricated units stuck in the rooms. very small, and as others have said like airline toilets. i wouldn't hurry back, but i wouldn't rule out staying... More

A spotlessly clean hotel within a 10 minute stroll from the Market Square. Simply furnished rooms, with small but adequate bathrooms and very comfortable beds. A nice bar/restaurant on the ground floor; friendly staff. Brilliant continental breakfasts! Don't be put-off by the rather non-descript entrance foyer.

This was a lovely hotel rooms were very small and featured a bathroom much like you would find on a airplane very compact. Staff were very friendly and the location was amazing. Right in the centre of town. So great for shopping. I would recommend for a short stay.

I booked a nights break in this hotel back in October 2011 for 2 couples. I booked through hotels4u and paid them when I made the booking. The staff at Lace hotel did not bother to check if the room had been paid and charged me again full price for the 2 rooms. I have been ringing them ever since... More

We were pressed for time and so limited in choice. After reading many reviews we decided to take a chance and booked a superior double at the Lace Hotel. Stirring sticks weren’t exchanged which I could tell from the previous guest’s lipstick stains. Coffee sachets weren’t topped up and the shower gel wasn’t replaced, we had double lotion bottles instead.... More

Despite reading the negative views of cold showers, dirty rooms and being overpriced, upon arriving at the hotel and my room I found this not to be the case. My room a normal single room was beautifully warm, spacious but more importantly clean! My only slight qualm is the showers could do with a little tlc but they were warm!!... More

Ignore all the negative reviews! This is a lovely, clean and well kept hotel which offers fantastic value for money. The rooms were large and modern with comfortable beds; however the bathroom was a bit basic but still met all our needs. The only problem was for the noise, probably not helped by the fact my room looked directly over... More

Having read some negative reviews, we were pleased to be given a throughly modern, quiet, well equipped room overlooking the cathedral. Perfectly comfortable, hot water, large shower, tea making facilities, adequate breakfast and a good restaurant attached. Excellent location Brugge is stunning. Recommend getting the Brugge City Card from the Tourist Office.Managed to sleep through the festival which lasted all... More
