We experienced our Erasmus as a well located and nice hotel. Very friendly staff, nice room, great bathroom and good breakfast. We experienced some troubles with the heating and one of the beds, both were solved fast. Only remark is the beds: we had two seperate beds, which were (too) small and (too) hard for us. Nevertheless a recommendation!

This family-run inn has extreme proximity to tons of restaurants, shops, and a one minute walk to main square. The owners are always on hand and have a very elegant restaurant with about a dozen local beers on-tap. On our last day they even gave us bills in exchange for our change so we could exchange the bills before coming...

We are a retired couple; one of us uses a manual wheelchair. The manager, Tom, was helpful and honest when we contacted the hotel to confirm suitability - there are no specifically adapted rooms, but he was aware of the issues and recommended a room, which was very clean and comfortable with a canal view. Best to enquire individually as...

We were two female florists visiting on business and pleasure for 3 nights. I had stumbled on the hotel via various links and was so glad to have. The reviews were good, and it lived up to everything everyone says. The place is absolutely spotless, the maid works very hard within this hotel as do the waiting staff, who are...

Was rerouted from another hotel and luckily landed here. I got a lovely room overlooking the canal in a very central location with a good bed and free wireless. Clean, clean, clean and safe. Loved the wood floors in the hallways for style and convenience with luggage). Although there were no safes in the room (usually a dealbreaker for me),...

We booked the hotel Erasmus for a romantic weekend break in Bruges after reading the good reviews on TA. I would echo past reviews: The staff were very accommodating. We arrived at the hotel about 11.30 AM after travelling since 3.00 AM and check in wasn't 'til about 2PM but the staff were very helpful and found a room for...

We visited Brugge for part of our honeymoon and this hotel made it very special. It is centrally located and only a minute walk to the center of all activity. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the bathrooms had all of the amenities you could want. We had a beautiful view of some cobblestone streets and you could...

The Hotel Erasmus is a very well located hotel just off the central square in Bruges. It is decorated to a high standard and is very clean. We were disappointed that it does not have a bar! The one criticism we have is that reception was a little slow.

My wife and I (a mature American couple regularly traveling in Europe) stayed in the Erasmus for three nights in mid-April. The hotel is small and has been newly renovated and is just lovely. It is located about a three minute walk from the large market with the bell tower. An elevator is available, but not necessary. We had a...

We found this in the Belgian beer guide and booked directly with the hotel. We had a package deal including evening meal with drinks to match and it worked out as very good value. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful with fresh coffee/tea or chocolate (yummy). Tom is a great guy and a real beer lover so it's always a bonus...
