After staying in cramped little rooms in London and Paris, it was nice to get a hotel room we could move around in. The room is a very modern European style, a bit low on counter space in the bathroom, but otherwise very comfortable. The location is great, about a 10 minute walk from the Brugge train station and easy...

We stayed overnight getting to Bruges in the afternoon. The hotel is very central to everything and makes it easy to get around. The Receptionist was most helpful and spoke English. there is an underground public car park, costing around eight euros a night. This is safe and monitored by CCTV. The hotel is modern and bright. I was not...

Once you get the parking sorted (under the square that the Hotel borders), it's very convenient for exploring this beautiful and surprising city. (The parking is less than €9 for 24 hours in a very modern and well managed car park.) The Hotel is spotless, the rooms are very modern (the shower is amazing) and the staff OK. Breakfast was...

Let me first start by saying why I didn't give this 5stars. The main point is our room was never made-up even though we left the green card facing the corridor & gave them all day. Now that's out of the way I can get to explaining how the hotel was amazing! On our arrival we were greeted by a...

We stayed in Hotel Portinari mid August. The hotel was nice, very basic but clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall we had a nice stay. Everywhere is within walking distance in Bruge. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the train station. You can site see on foot too. All sites are close in Bruges....

So, I don't want to come across as prudish, but all standard rooms have completely open bathrooms. I mean completely open to the bedroom, toilet and all (no screen or low wall etc). So if you are not travelling with someone that you are completely familiar with, you may want to upgrade (the superior rooms have separate toilet with door)....

Dear Chuck, Thank you for your review. All our bathrooms in the standard rooms have a glass wall to separate it from the sleeping area as you can see in the pictures. But we also took in to account the privacy if multiple people occupy a single room. The solution was to provide a curtain you can pull down so...

Six of us stayed here on a bikers trip to Bruges and what a brilliant stay we had at this wonderful Hotel. Right in the middle of Bruges with parking outside the front door for our three motorcycles. The rooms are very comfortable with showers to die for and very large relaxing beds. The pillows are a bit questionable but...
