The B&B is located in a renovated farmhouse. The owners are welcoming and helpful. Our room (located above the main entrance) was really charming though not suited for people with reduced mobility: narrow staircase, low height of the room and only a bathtub (which is not necessarily at the most convenient location in the bathroom - i.e just below the...

We stayed here for one night. The B&B is a gorgeous old cottage (well, a giant cottage). The owners were very nice and always available. The space is neat, though I thought it was a little over decorated. We stayed in the India room, which was chock full of India-themed decor. The B&B has a cozy living room and an...

Lovely garden, nice hosts, situated in the country. Family room without shower, just a bath tub. Don't trust your navigation system– due to nearby construction it will send you to a dead end. Just drive to the town of Lissewege and then use the navigation. The hosts recommended the Hof Ter Doest restaurant– a nice 15 minute walk, featuring great...

What I would say to anyone who thought that Guy and Axel were not good with kids, were not helpful hosts, and were running an establishment not worth the money is: you're absolutely crazy. Seriously....to say anything other than "wow that was awesome" would be a disservice because, honestly, this couple went positively out of their way to welcome us...

We just left this amazing bed and breakfast. The dwelling itself is a fantastically restored old farm house. Guy and Axel have taken great care to put the finishing touches on this gem of a property. Upon our arrival, Guy showed us the premises and we got to meet their adorable dogs (as well as a briefing on staying safe...

Very disappointing Not a place to take kids as the owners clearly were extremely cold towards our children. The man has a lot of temper and high pitch voice. Rooms were cold and no hot water on first day and night and when we mentioned about it the man did not like us complaining as he thought the weather outside...

This is just the prove that you can't please every one . Just look at the comments of this " lady " and the one's of our other customers. Yes , it was cold in her room, because twice the same day our customer turned the radiators off ( they were on , but she wanted more heat and turned...

Me, my girlfriend and our two friends decided to go on a romantic weekend away to Bruges and fell in love with the idea of this beautiful country house and its picture-esk rooms. The photo's definitely live up to themselves and the rooms were a quirky, unique and romantic experience. There is no locks on the doors which was a...

Beautifull old place with lots of warm atmosphere. Owners are helpfull and very friendly. We stayed in the two rooms appartment with lots of space and own bathroom. In the evening sitting in the livingroom with a nice fireplace (the owner lits it for you) and a Belgium beer (enough choice out of 10 beers, wines, soda or other drinks)....

Nice, authentic 18th century farm building. We had the family room, which means a double bed downstairs, and further bed(s) - we only used one - up the rather steep stairs to the upper floor, with the bathroom half way up the stairs (mind your head when entering the bathroom - the door is not very high). Even though this...

This place has everything: great location, nearby one the prettiest villages in Flanders, proximity to Brugge, to Ostend, to Knokke-Heist, to thousands of great places to drink and eat. And it's a wonderful old farm, beatifully and tastefully renovated, located in the middle of the countryside, a real treat. But first and foremost: it's run by Axel and Guy Carpentier,...
