Just spent the weekend in Bruges and stayed two nights at this lovely hotel. This was a surprise for my birthday and my partner booked it without my knowledge. Top marks to him for choosing this place to stay. I cannot believe some of the things people have written in previous reviews. Yes, this establishment is not ultra modern and...

An older style hotel but everything we encountered was clean (always our main criteria). Our room did not have any of the faults that other reviewers have listed. Obviously there are things in any hotel that could be changed (I will not say improved because that is subjective). Yes, it was expensive but then so is most of Belgium, and...

Well past its prime with bathroom and bedroom showing lots of wear and tear but quiet and with free parking outside and a short walk into the town it is worth considering. Bruges is expensive for accommodation so it is all a balance, but i would have liked to have seen the hotel 10 or so years ago. Breakfast was...

in former years this may have been a quality place to stay. nowadays only the good location and the big and beautiful garden refer to those times. now the rooms smelled musty and looked like not renewed for centuries. the bathroom is fully plastic, the floor, the wall and even the sink! obviously they like plastics - we had plastic...

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Although a little dated in places it was clean, comfortable and spacious. The hotel grounds were immaculate and we enjoyed the large bedroom and tasty breakfast with homemade preserves. It was a bit of a walk into town (20 mins) but it was a very pleasant stroll and as Belgium is so flat it...

We arrived in Brugge after a troubling morning with two little girls. We arrived and asked the host of this fine establishment if we could stay at their hotel and have some breakfast. They readily accommodated us and made us feel right at home. The food was great, the hotel was beautiful, the grounds were well-kept, and the location was...

My partner and I stayed three nights at The Pannenhuis. It's not cheap but we were there for a birthday celebration and it's a very comfortable and convenient place to stay. The wood panelling and antiques create a warm feeling and our room was enormous and well furnished. We ate one night in the restaurant which we thought we rather...

This review is restricted to the restaurant which my two sons and I visited for dinner following a recommendation. What a lovely night. We had a drink and read of the menu in the reception area sat next to an open fire. The dining room itself is elegant with no background music and plenty of space between tables. Two of...

We stayed at the Pannenhuis for the third time this summer (July) and were dismayed by the changes. We were the only guests and were put into one of the garden rooms which are not of the same quality as those within the house. We had to ask for bath towelsto be provided and got the impression that hotel staff had...
