Friendly host greeted us with drinks and provided us with the map of Bruges and explanation on the walk to the center of Bruges. It takes 20 - 30 minutes walk to the center, but if you have a car, you can always drive to a car park nearer to the center. Free wifi, free car park, beautifully decorated house... More

After reading reviews of B&B De Vijf Zuilen, and checking info from the B&B on line, we made our reservations just before leaving for Europe. So glad we did! This is a popular B&B, and had we waited until we arrived in Bruges, we would have been out of luck. This lovingly restored 1920's era private home, is full of... More

This was our second visit to De Vijf Zuilen and Ginette greeted us like old friends. As always, we were offered a drink while she sat down with a map and reminded us where to find things in the city, pointing out some recent attractions. This time we had the largest room, Magistique, and it really is. Spacious, comfortable, well... More

We highly, highly recommend this B&B. Picked up from the train station by our host. Then welcomed with some lovely food and a drink of our choice. Ginette is probably the most helpful host we have ever met. Everything was written out for us on the map we were given. The recommendations for where to eat were excellent. And they... More

I can't say enough about our stay at this B&B. The room was very clean the bed comfortable and the room as well as the whole house was decorated beautifully. The room was a bit small but presented little problem. What makes staying here such a pleasure are the hosts, Patrick and Ginette. They were so helpful and pleasant! Upon... More

After we arrived we were met by the owner- who is possibly the most helpful B&B owner we have ever come across, with the offer of a drink and a complete run down of the where and how's of the locality. The house is lovely, clean and comfortable; decorated in a distinctive personal style. There are drinks available from a... More

We stayed at this B&B for 2 nights from 19th May. We received a very warm welcome from Ginette and Patrick who could not have been more helpful during our stay. We had a beautiful room which had been specially decorated for my wife's birthday. This was even more remarkable as I had only mentioned this briefly when booking back... More

As per ALL the other reviews this boutique style B&B is brilliant! 20 minute or so walk to the center but a lovely walk what ever route you take! Amazing breakfast accompanied by sandwich bags to take away any left overs which comes in handy when you get peckish later on! Continental breakfast served, highly recommend making up a roll...
