This B&B is located a few blocks from Bruges center. It is simultaneously close enough to the Burg and Grote Markt squares and placed in a quiet neighborhood. The suite we occupied had ample rooms, all elegant in an old fashioned way with some antique pieces of furniture, including a chaise lounge. There was a coffeemaker, a teapot and cups... More

Had a two night stay in above extremely old as the name suggests.bedrooms were spacious and well presented and the proprietor was very friendly and helpful as nobody in our party spoke Flemish. Bruges was a lively and interesting city with plenty to see and do including a large variety of restaurants to choose from all in all I would... More

I booked the trip to Bruges as a 70th birthday present for my husband. Having booked through a well known website, I received confirmation of the booking and noted that we were given a 2nd floor room. I emailed asking if they had a ground floor room as both my husband and I find it difficult to climb stairs and... More

We stayed on Monday 29th June 2015. What a beautiful house, full of character and charm and very shabby chic. We stayed in the Blue Suite and had the whole of the second floor to ourselves. A lounge (with kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom). The bed was massive and very comfortable. We were able to leave our luggage prior to checking... More

We visited in 2011 and loved Livia and the guesthouse. When we arrived this time (around 8PM), Livia welcomed us in and shared a glass of wine with us as we talked about our day. She marked a few things on a map for us to explore over the next couple days. We stayed at the top (Room with a... More

My boyfriend and I went to Bruges for a few days break and what a wonderful break we had. Staying at Livia's B and B was blissful. Such a beautiful, comfortable home where you are made to feel more than welcome. Livia made us feel so at home and her delicious breakfast more than set us up for the day.... More

I thought I had booked a room in Livia's Guest house but had in fact made a booking for the stunning Bridge House, which was located 50 meters away from Livia's guest house. Bridge House is one of the 2nd oldest houses in Bruges dating back to the 14th Century. Livia invited us into her home and gave us all... More

Positives - Livia, she's friendly, fun and explains anything you want to know about Bruges. Location is about 300m from the centre. Breakfast is continental style and excellent. We stayed in the "Room with a View" which is up 4 sets of stairs (64 steps from the street); and although the view is excellent, carrying a heavy suitcase up/down there... More
