Best stayover place in town! Awesome view (ask for the channel view dorm) and cool authentic atmosphere inside! They have a big modern kitchen so you can prepare your own meals. Fair price and a basic but very decent breakfast.

This hostel felt like a home away from home. On rainny days people would hang in the lounge reading or enjoying the company of others. Cooking dinner was very social. They had a relaxed bar so you could enjoy a wonderful belgium beer anytime without trying to squeeze into a city bar full of students. The main center of the... More

Really kind and helpful staff! The common area is spacious and great for socializing. The hostel overlooks the St. Michael's bridge which gives a wonderful view. Hostel was clean and cheap with free Wi-Fi and breakfast. Pretty much all you could ask for in a hostel and more!

I really loved this old building with its noisy stairway and the probably most beautiful lounge and dining area I've ever seen in a hostel. The kitchen is big enough for a few people to cook at the same time, well equipped too. The room I stayed in was an 8 dorm and offered heaps of space for everyone. As... More

Erasmus already knew this was a perfect spot to hang out for a while & centuries later it still is...the picturesque town of Ghent -along with its canals- is right outside your window when you stay in the hostel. Comfy beds in a spacious historical building with a touch of modern elements where you need it (bathrooms) and cozy where... More

This hostel is amazing! It's in the city center, the rooms are clean, breakfast is included and it is the meeting place for the free guided walking tour (don't miss this cause I learned a lot and it's so worth it). On top of that I made loads of friends! Can't wait to come back!

This place has the perfect location. Its right in the heart of the historic district along one of the main canals with views of the 3 towers of Ghent and the medieval harbor. The place has all modern appliances while keeping its historic feel. The hostel is in a medieval building too! Super clean with a great staff and daily... More

What can I say? With all the other great reviews you'd think its setting its self up for a fall but far from it. Great location, very helpful staff, reasonable prices, no lack of toilets/separate showers, free WiFi.... The list goes on. Main thing to point out (apart from staff which is always a deal breaker in my book and... More

I have stayed at this hostel on week days for the last three weeks. One night, the guy who slept above me in the same bunk, got lucky with some girl who stayed in a different room. I was less lucky for being the live withness of their romance. Despite the fact that this couple was aware that I was... More
