F&B is perfectly located to explore the city of Ghent. The place is extremely clean and Fred is very knowledgable and helps wherever he can. The place is charmfully decorated and it feels more like a home than an acommodation place. I can only highly recommend Fred & Breakfast

The room was dusty, the bathroom bin filled with the previous guests' trash, the sink, toilet and shower unhygienic. My host, Fred, was watching soccer in his apartment upstairs, very loud. He wasn't pleasant or cordial. He didn't help me to connect to his (nonexistent?) WiFi. I paid more than the price announced by booking.com (only a couple of €)....

I have just come back from 2 nights in this bed and breakfast and I can only say it really feels like being hosted by a friend at his place. Fred is extremely kind and welcoming. We had a booking, made more than a month before through bedandbreakfast.eu - with reassuring exchange of friendly emails with Fred, in which I suggested we'd arrive (by bike) early afternoon. As agreed I sent a text 15mins before arriving - at his unresponsive door. So I called, to be told: "I'm closed today". "But we have a reservation" I...

Fred & Breakfast was a great place to stay. We had a total of 5 people so we had both rooms. We were in Gent for a roller derby competition. Fred was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great. The rooms were great. Only 4 of 5 because the hot water couldn't manage 5 people's separate showers in the mornings.

We used this very nice location in the city centre of Ghent. The rooms are well furnished and clean. The host was very friendly and cooperative. It is very good that a WLAN is available. I really appreciate that the owner keep the charakter of the old building. The breakfast was fine and sufficient.

Very friendly B&B near the centre of Gent, clean tidy stylish rooms in a very Belgian building by the side of the Coupure. City centre is easily walkable or you can take a tram from almost outside the B&B.
