Certificate of Excellence
The newly designed Pillows Grand Hotel Reylof revives its heritage. Discover the Louis XIV style townhouse, mere steps away from Ghent’s historic centre. Meet the concierge at the centuries-old façade, leading you through the ancient carriage gate and into the central hall. Ascend the classic stairs, whimsically winding up to the Living. In this heart of the hotel, the hosts welcome you to Pillows’ central space: a welcome area, bar, lounge and the ‘Domestic Kitchen’, all in one. It is the perfect place to put your feet up, gaze into the crackling fireplace and enjoy ‘clockless eating’ from the ‘Domestic Kitchen’ any time of the day. The 157 rooms and suites honour the residential feel of Baron Olivier Reylof’s former home, dating back to 1724. Sink into crispy linen and enjoy the comfort of your room in the monumental building or newer wings. All rooms are adorned with gentle colours, soft fabrics and original artworks. Lose track of time in the leafy surroundings of the courtyard

The hotel is located quite near to the center of the town, which is nice if you want to stroll along shops, bars and places of interest. The hotel itself is located in a beautiful renovated building. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Comfort in the rooms is up to

Please check with the hotel. We didn't use late check-out but that doesn't mean they don't offer it.

Hello, Is breakfast included? And what's the difference between a cosy room and a double room? Thanks.
Dear, Thank you for your message and interest in our hotel. We have several rate types both including and excluding breakfast. If you were to select a rate that excludes breakfast, you always have the opportunity to book breakfast during your stay at the rate of 23 EUR per person per day. We serve a continental buffet breakfast with a wide variety of choices. Regarding our room types; our cosy room is 18 square meters and has one bed. Our standard double room also known as our charm room is 21 square meters and has a larger king size bed or twin beds. If you travel with two people, the latter one could be considered more comfortable. We hope to have informed you sufficiently with the above. Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us directly via the following telephone number: +32 9 235 40 70. Best regards, Barbara Carton Front Office

Hello, Ghent is 45 km away from Brussels, so it would be cheaper (and maybe faster due to the traffic between Ghent and Brussels) ) to take a taxi from the hotel to the Sint Pieter station in Ghent and a train (40 minutes) to the Midi Station in Brussels . But if you need to go from Ghent to the Zaventem Airport there is also a train stopping at the airport you can catch in Ghent. Hope you'll enjoy your stay in Belgium! If you plan to visit Brussels do not hesitate to contact me, I love my city and it's a pleasure to informe people about it! Muriel

Hi, it's not my hotel - I just stayed there for a night last year. Gent to Paris is not too far, you can go by train or car, it's 2 to 3 hours away. I would spend my time in Paris and nowhere in between - there's so much to see and do there... or go to Nancy which is a wonderful city in Alsace/Lorraine region of France but it's a bit of a detour (almost 4 hour drive then another almost 4 hours to Paris).
