Happened to stumble across Simon Says whilst looking for a small bite to eat and didn't regret going in, the service was great and the food was delicious! For drinks we had a smoothie and iced tea which were both lovely and we split the soup of the day and a croque Monsieur between us. The desserts and pastries also...

Went for breakfast at 11 AM. Very nice setting, small but cozy. Very helpful staff and great nice breakfast. We went for the €18 breakfast combo. Nice that everyhing comes not at the same time so it looks like a unending stream of food. Portions are good (not too big) and the quality is great. It looks and taste great....

Simon Says was our first stop after arriving on an overnight flight from the US. Simon and Chris were very welcoming and provided great recommendations for Ghent. The location is excellent for seeing the sites in Ghent and, after walking around, we came back to our room and had a welcome beer at the cafe. The room was very nice...

We spent two nights at Simon Says with friends. Both rooms were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the very centre and lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast in the café was very good, and we also enjoyed lunch there with complimentary drinks on the first day. Simon and Christopher...

Long before everyone else, Simon Says served great coffee in a lovely environment. And they keep doing just that. For a nice breakfast, fine lunch, great tea or coffee, this is the place. Very consistent, with friendly staff, good prices and a great atmosphere. When in Ghent, go there!

First day I visited Simon Says was just for a cappuccino after my flight from Malta and train ride from Brussels. I was tired and a bit stressed so all I needed was a comfortable spot to unwind and relax. It was the perfect place to catch up with an old friend and I was most pleasantly surprised by the...

This Cafe sits on the end of a street crammed with restaurants, bars and artisanal shops. The staff are friendly, welcoming and engage your children in a fun way. There was outside seating, french cafe style, available but we sat inside. Inside is a typical traditional cafe look but brighter than the regional norm. The food was fresh, wholesome, delivered efficiently...

Simon hails from Wales but has lived here many years and his enthusiasm and warm welcome for his guests is outstanding. Currently he has 2 boutique rooms available but a futher room may follow - he needs to find time from running the permanently busy cafe downstairs. Beautifully appointed rooms, all the facilities you want, free bottled water, hairdryer, tea/coffee...

“there are only two rooms --- I think #2 is what we stayed in (the larger of the two). Be sure and ask which rooms are open on your date and pick the larger if available.”
