Very polite people and cozy environment! You can choose to drink, eat and eat again! Everything is delicious and the customers are there to help you, to answer all your questions! Nice decoration also, I loved it!

Simon says was a fantastic stop for coffee and lunch. The servers were fantastic and talented, singing songs and tap dancing during our lunch. The croque monsieur and soup were hearty and delicious and a large portion.

If you like coffee, pastries, granola, continental breakfast, it doesn't get much better. We did not use the hotel, just visited for breakfast. Service was great, not too pricey and very centrally located

We stayed here for 2 nights and would highly recommend Simon Says. The location is super for exploring Ghent, especially the authentic quaint area close to the B&B. The bedroom was very comfortable and we appreciated the cleanliness, comfy bed, black out curtains and treats. The breakfast in the cafe was yummy! Thank you Simon and team for your welcoming...

My wife and I stayed four nights, and we arrived without knowing very much at all about Ghent. It turned out that we arrived at the heart of a local festival, which was a nice surprise. The whole staff of Simon Says was very kind, and every request was met with a smile. Even when the cafe was busy (and...

It was very nice to come there again after few years. The coffee is perfect - hardly can be found better tasting coffee in Northern Belgium, breakfast is excellent, the only shame was the waiters sentence in the beginning which sounded not very welcoming and bit nervous : "You are 7, make a reservation next time and any smile :-(...

We had lovely food and great service here this morning. On a day of sunshine and showers our tables and chairs were dried, food arrived promptly, was tasty and beautifully served. We even had a nostalgic chat about Wales! Thank you. Highly recommended.

We had a couple of nights at the BnB, and were given the best welcome ever. The place was very clean, very comfortable and with a great view of the area, which is funky and friendly. The room was a great size, and had a more interesting mini bar. I'm gluten free, and they made me feel that getting in...

Grabbed takeaway coffee and pastries from here on a recent trip. They also had inside and outside tables and did some hot food too (eggs) - team working there were really friendly and great quality food. It's a little bit outside the main tourist area but worth the walk !

Few years ago we spent here 2 nights with my wife, it was so nice, we loved it. Now we are planning to come back also with friends and our daughter. It was also inspiring me in my work. The rooms were nicely furnished, the cafe was refreshing and there was a very friendly staff. We are looking forward to...

“Our room was the smaller of the two and plenty big!”

“there are only two rooms --- I think #2 is what we stayed in (the larger of the two). Be sure and ask which rooms are open on your date and pick the larger if available.”

“The steps are steep and narrow by USA standards but my mom (84 years) was able to master them. There is some street noise but not too bad.”

“We slept in the smaller, slightly cheaper room, and it was a great size with a gorgeous big window overlooking the square. We didn't see the other room but loved ours!”

“Simon Says offers only two rooms since its a small B&B so booking ahead is recommendable. Both rooms are great.”
