a really unique historical location with delicious food and warm welcome. A base for those following the hunting season, but also a great spot from which to explore the Ardennes. We were happy to taste the beers and the menu - splendid chef. Wild season menu excellent. Comfortable rooms - keeping the style of the cloister. Only thing I would...

Large rooms, some with fantastic views over the Meuse river and the city. Our room had a very nice, spacious bathroom (also with a river view). The staff is friendly and understand English. Breakfast rather basic and at extra cost.

Thank you for a fabulous stay at Hotel La Merveilleuse! We stayed here slightly off-season and had a very nice experience. The room had a faboulous view of the river and the citadel. The room was large and clean. Staff was very friendly and spoke fluent English. Breakfast was served at "the great table" which was a nice way to...

My boyfriend and I stayed for a Saturday night. The entry for the hotel was difficult to find since we arrived early, the door was locked. There is no locked left luggage area, so better to leave it at the station where a generally large locker is 4 euros. The room was nice and clean with a lot of space...

We stayed here for one night - a Saturday. I'd seen photos of the hotel on-line and liked the quirky nature of it. We explored Dinant before checking in and we cast many glances at the hotel sat majestically, high on the riverbank. It looked impressive from a distance. As we got closer it started to looked a little worse...

Hotel (overall): ★★★ We only spent one night, and there were some positives to this hotel - it's within walking distance (5 minutes) to downtoan Dinant and the hotel itself (having been a monestary) was beautiful. We unfortunately did not take advantage of the complimentary tour of La Leffe Museum (beer museum). Our room was spacious, however based on photos...

Most of the rooms are booked by groups so it isn't always easy to find a room, but this hotel is not only well-located, it's wonderfully quirky, with a beer museum in the hotel. And a new spa that has a huge soaking pool with LED colored lights and fun water features. By way of background, at the end of...

We stayed one night at this hotel during our travels through Belgium. It was very nice, the location and decor are amazing, it used to be a monastery. The Leffe museum is also situated in the same building and you get a visit and free tasting with your stay. The rooms were very cute and had a beautiful view of...

We had driven for a long time, had booked online after a random search, first saw Dinant from the car and it resembled a citadel from Tolkein's imagination! The welcome we received from the hotel staff was warm and friendly, and dare I say a touch eccentric too? The hotel is a conversion of an old convent, with many features...

We stayed there a while ago and thought it was amazing. The old monastery has been turned into a great and unique space. The rooms are functional and clean. We had a great time and will be coming back soon!!
