i and my boyfriend arrived in this hostel about 19h-20h and we had to wait about a hour in the reception, because it was closed for dinner - what is already annoying once you arrive tired and it wasn't informed anywhere in hihostel nor the bruegel hostel website. - after wait the staff finish the dinner, we stated the check...

The position is absolutely super (15 minutes walk to the central train station and to the city center). The hostel is not really comfortable regarding beds and toilets and the reception is not 24h available. The price is good considering the position and the average price of a night stay in Brussels. Breakfast is nothing special but surely I experienced...

Very friendly staff, decent rooms and good location. Close to the centre and a 15 min walk to the main station. You get given clean sheets and the place is always very clean. Would definitely stay here again :)

I travelled alone, backpacking through Europe. Spent a night in here. Staff was very helpful, no problems there, breakfast (included in the cost of the room) was your standard continental breakfast: cereal, bread, coffee, milk etc. It was actually a bit better than in most other hostels I have stayed.Rooms were of adequate size, not big, but i have slept...

I did a mistake of staying here. The memories about this place still haunt me. There are so many things wrong about this place that I will list only the worst ones. 1. The staff: The lady receptionist was cordial enough to the guests, but the guy who was on the night shift was an a*******. When asked about the...

Pros: -Very friendly and helpful staff who converse well in english. -Room with in-built shower room. Cons: -Small room with little walking space. -Unstable double deck beds. -Pay to use the lockers if you want to store your bags prior to check in. -Very dull complimentary breakfast.

Worst case of false advertising I have ever experienced. I booked this hostel online thinking it looked alright and that it would be a good location, close to the central station and the city centre but I got there and the place was awful. The room wasn't ready for me when I got there, so I had to pay to...

Great location. 5-10min walk from central station. Limited reception hours. When I showed up at 2pm to checkin, reception was just re opening after their lunch break and there was a big queue of people waiting and only one girl on reception who was a bit flustered. It was ok though. Building is old. Looks old. But is relatively clean,...

There were two of us staying at the hostel, but for vacancy reasons had to get a single room and another bed in a shared room. After paying at the reception, we went upstairs to check out the rooms and we were surprised by a dirty single room that no one had bothered to clean after the last stay. The...
