The hotel was well serviced by staff, very nice rooms, quite central (close to the EU) and walking distance to public transport. I also enjoyed the local area around the hotel.

My wife and I stayed at the Stanhope in late August, and found it to be a wonderful and classy hotel. However, it is in more of a business district, so there is not as much in the way of restaurants and entertainment nearby. However, we enjoyed a spacious and well-appointed room and great service. Our only complaint is that...

I stayed solo at the Stanhope for 2 nights during a month trip through Europe. The hotel is located in the European Quarter (as opposed to the central city area). To me, being from the Bay Area in California, I related this area more to the financial district of San Francisco, meaning this is not the busy, "happening" area of...

Successfully bid with Priceline- was hoping for Le Meridien by Central Station (reason for stay in Brussels was that I had to leave early the next morning on a flight so I wanted to be close to the train) and was at first disappointed that I got the Stanhope. However, after I arrived my disappointment quickly faded. It's a 1-minute...

Fabulous hotel - very good price through Eurostar city break. A luxurious beautiful hotel in a calm relaxed city filled with lots of chocolate shops and traditional beer halls - what more could a couple want for a well deserved break? Going back very soon......

A bit expensive for stayings during working days... definitively the best for a WE in Brussels! Gorgeous breakfast, but a bit expensive if not included in the package.... It is a real five stars hotel. At the heart of the EU area, 10 minutes walking from the Royal Palace, 10 minutes by metro to the Grand Place. Façade currently under...

We booked the Stanhope at a very nice price for the weekend. The hotel is lovely and we had a nice two story room. They have a garden area in the back that is simply wonderful. However, if you are visiting Brussels for a weekend getaway, I would not stay at the Standhope. It is in the European Quarter and...
