In looking at other reviews, I am going to seem overly generous. That is for a reason. The staff was very service oriented, especially to a first timer. It was less than 10 minutes from the Grand Place and around the corner from the tram. The roomy was spacious for a single and very clean. For my stay, I have...

I have used the Ibis chain of hotels numerous times and they are all very simular, this one is no different. Ideal for short stays, not what you want for a posh, longer holiday sort of visit. Modern, clean and welcoming staff who all seem to speak a selection of languages. Two lifts, a small bar and a lounge, all...

This hotel is in an excellent location for all activities, near metro, near grand place etc and easily accesable from the airport. It is clean, basic and very helpful and informative staff who are ever pleasent. Yes other reviews stated the rooms were small in particular the bathroom and I do agree but everything else about the hotel makes this an item not to...

we stayed here for a 4 day city break, the location is perfect, but the hotel bedrooms were very small and the shower room, toilet was tiny. When we arrived we went straight to our room. unfortunatelly there was drilling going on in the room above . We waited about 10 mins but it did not stop, we contacted the reception...

Stayed for two nights at the Ibis and whilst the bathroom was small it was very well decorated and the shower superb. Great use of space. Room itself was very clean and again well decorated but the double bed was actually two singles pushed together. There were a lot of tramps around the area sleeping rough but they didnt cause...

The best thing about this hotel is its location - it couldn't be much more central to the heart of Brussels. It is also very reasonably priced. We stayed here for 3 nights in May and couldn't believe what a bargain we'd found. When we arrived, the road outside was being dug up (maybe this was why it was so...

Stayed for only 1 night in a double room. The room was clean and simple, but very tiny - especially the bathroom. Room had a TV, but no tea & coffee making facilities. The hotel location is good, close to the historical centre, but out of the centre enough to be quiet. Perfectly fine for a short stop over, if...

Like every other budget hotel, the rooms were simple and basic. But that's what you pay for, so no complaint. But be warned. The air conditioning for every room is not functioning "until the third week in July" while new units are being installed. It is a hot buildign anyway. We had to sleep with the windows open and on...

I just spent 3 nights in this hotel with a group. We paid € 95,- pr room/night and I think it was a bit high because there was some big conference in town, so most hotels were full. The hotel is part of a chain, so you don’t get too much boutique charm, but no quirks either. I think most...

Last month we decided to go to one of our favorite cities, just for the weekend, nothing special. Because of its location we decided to try out the Ibis Hotel St Catharine, boy were we disapointed. Never have we stayed in a smaller twin room than this time. The bathroom is so small that it is impossible to dry yourself...
