The 10 beds room was large and clean, but honestly you'll probably spend most of your time in the great common room or in the patio. Great facilities, very friendly staff (mostly backpackers that loved the place and stayed for some time) and good atmosphere. What else can you ask from a hostel?

Lively, quirky hostel with a great atmosphere and very welcoming hosts. The room I was in was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The facilities are good with a fully equipped kitchen (free herbs & spices, tea & coffee etc...) and the common area is a cosy place, where everyone seems to hang out, chat and play games instead of staying...

Thank you for a lovely stay at Abhostel! This hostel truly made my stay in Antwerp. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and ran an excellent hostel that was well patronised for good reason. The rooms and beds were comfortable and the place- an old converted chocolate factory- was decorated with a retro, alternative flair. Great kitchen, lounge and...

Out of all the hostels I've tried in my life, this is the best for so many reasons. The owners are friendly, they give you a nice greeting full of info you need about your area and the city with a free map. The place is so clean and neat. It has this friendly environment that makes you feel like...

This hostel felt more like a home than a hostel. Bridgett and Greg open the converted chocolate factory and invite you in to enjoy your stay . Both were extremely welcoming and friendly and their hostel is amazing . The dorms are cosy and the common areas are perfect to relax in after a day of exploring Antwerp. The showers...

Lovely family-run hostel! One of the sons gave us an introduction to Antwerp and where to go and what to do etc. The hostel is clean and safe, with good wifi that can be reached even on the upper bunk of the dorms on the higher floor. The location is pretty good, within walking distance of the famous Antwerp Central...

Spacious, clean and with very good security. Breakfast is more than decent and the beds are comfortable. Also a few good bars close by. Not very close to the centre although this is reflected in the price!

Just the way a hostel should be! It's run by the friendliest and most helpful people and has a very nice common area. Located in an upcoming neighbourhood of Antwerp with nice bars and restaurants around, but not to far away from the city center (half an hour of walking or couple of minutes by tram). Really enjoyed the time...

Staff is so friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is great and the kitchen and hanging out area is excellent! They have a beer machine and games, fuzzball, clean rooms, movie area, cute porch...what else could you ask for! Would definitely stay here again!

The owners of this hostel are extremely nice and hospitable. When you arrive they show you the entire hostel and supply you with a map along with an overview of what the city has to offer. The hostel is very clean and includes free (basic) breakfast. It's located 15 minutes from Antwerp Central station by foot, and it's near a...

“The towels are a tad on the small side, if you cannot live with that bring your own. They're free for the smaller rooms, but you need to rent them for €2,- (or buy for €4,-) in the dorm room.”

“The mixed 5 bed dorm is the closest to the common area. It was pretty quiet, but it's potentially the most noisy one if there's something going on in the common area during the night.”

“The 10 person dorm with an ensuite is brand new and comfortable, but the showers are downstairs. The 5 person dorm is cosy and quirky. Both nice and quiet (although the 10 person dorm is next to the terrace which can be a little noisy at night)”
