I facilitated a group session at this location. Very nice atmosphere. The ancient buildings give you a very specific feeling. Nice and quiet. Of course not always as practical as new buildings ... Catering was OK but no wow (only had coffee, no lunch or dinner). Beamer was rather old and not very bright. Great that they have an extra... More

Spent a week at the Priorij Conference during a business conference totally hosted on-site. Very convenient having restaurant, bar, accommodation and full conference facilities on a single site. The 13th-century architecture of the older parts of the buildings give a real sense of place and occasion. The rooms were about 3.5 star while the food and the Corsendonk beer were... More

The surrounding, the atmosphere and the old buildings are superb. You can get the feeling of an old lost time. The rooms are ok. The service can be better, certainly when there is a big group. Breakfast banket is ok.

Really impressed when we entered the grounds of the hotel, beautiful old building, great architecture, the cellar bar is really impressive. The reception was closed when we arrived after 6pm, but our room keys were available and other staff were on hand to assist with directions to our rooms, so no complaints on that score. We stayed in the Monks... More

The place is beautiful. You can feel the history. Unfortunately I think you can also feel what the 14th century monks felt (OK, I'm overdoing it abit...). The rooms are cold, bathroom is below par, the TV only shows Belgian channels and...wait for this one...if you are able to connect to the internet, you should buy a lottery ticket. I... More

the hotel located a few km from Turnhout is very good for people who want to make a bicycle tour. Rooms are good and a lot of space. Bed are for us to "soft", breakfast is ok and a friendly staff. You can rent a bike at the hotel. There is a restaurant and a bar.

Can't remember the last time I had food as digusting as they serve here, even the most simple highway resaurant does it better. The veal was so overcooked for the whole dinner party that it was imposible to cut it. The housewines were so bad, you wouldn't even use them to cook. Hotelrooms are very basic and old. Would advise... More

Stayed here while being on a business gathering. I can only agree with all the previous reviews. The grounds are amazing and beautiful and probably of great historic value in daylight but when arriving after 6pm in the dark… not so much. The grounds are poorly lit with almost no signs. I had trouble finding a parking spot, finding the... More
