This hotel was well located for the old town. Once I got my bearings it became clear it was perfect for a city trip. Don't be put off by it being on a less busy Street. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff are very good indeed. Breakfast was a bit sparce but sufficient. I would recommend if you... More

I stayed for one night at the prince hotel and I was pretty good with everything, the room was clean and everything was nice looking but the hotel from the outside gives you a fake idea of what is the inside. The rooms are really old looking and everything is pretty old and the price was way to high. I... More

Hotel Prinse is situated in a quiet street just a 10 minute walk to the old town area in one direction and the main shopping street in another. The hotel is a little dated but the rooms are a decent size and comfortable. There is no temperature control in the rooms but the Reception can provide fans if needed. The... More

The location is in a discreet and quiet area, good for the University, and about a ten-minute easy walk into the town centre. The room I was first given was huge but looked onto a blank wall; the staff kindly found me an alternative, which was airy and equally spacious. The place is modern (but not achingly so), clean and... More

Staying at Prinse is going back in time a bit. No card keys; showers with curtains; blankets instead of duvets; and what could easily be a 1970s phone in the room. The opposite of trendy, the style of this hotel is, let's say, somewhat dated, and probably because of this attracts elderly guests rather than young ones. But there is... More

This hotel was priceworthy and was situated perfect for walking distance for shopping & restaurants. It was actually more like a bed & breakfast than a hotel. The reception had a very nice and serviceminded person ~ both owner and him were very helpful with questions we had. I would have given this hotel 4 stars if they: 1) Had... More

Stayed here now 2nd time. Centrally located in walking distance to Grote Markt etc but it is a silent place, a bit in a back yard. Room was ok by size. Bed by far too soft and using a smelly blanket. Carpet looks not very clean either. Building quality let you hear lots of your room neighbors. Free wifi but... More

This hotel is very attractive from the outside and well located for the university and sightseeing in the old town. The rooms are rather 'tired' and in need of a bit of an update. The continental breakfast is very basic but fine.

This is a nice, simple hotel...everything you need, but not a lot of frills. For some reason we got a handicapped accessible suite with two bedrooms, which was nice! It is quiet, sleeping quality was good, the bathroom was large and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was adequate but not special. WiFi is spotty. The only downside is that the... More
