Stayed at this hotel while in Holland celebrating Kings Day. Good location, hotel is in an old Patrician House but the entrance hall and breakfast room are quite dark and gloomy. Our room was tiny and oppressive, with a very small double bed. It was very noisy because of the people above and it looked out onto a yard behind...

This is a very nice, clean hotel in the old part of Leiden, with very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast in classic old dining room. Not fancy at all, but excellent value. Can walk (~10 minutes) to main Leiden train station.

I did not realize the train station had two exits, and the first people told me to continue the wrong way, and with all the stuff I had from skiing in Norway it was a bit of a walk to the hotel. Still nice spot , made it to the gardens and back easily, found a great fish place to...

We stayed here as two single females, exploring the city and meeting up with old friends. It's location is brilliant, overlooking a canal and right in the picturesque centre of town. We walked from the station which was an unbelievably quick journey from Schipol. There was a saturday market around the corner where we were able to sample proper Dutch...

By accident I landed in the town of Lieden Netherlands outside of Amsterdam and found this cozy hotel. Priced above average it was a comfortable room and very clean. Breakfast does not come with the room, they do not tell you that and although the quality was excellent it was far more money than I had expected to pay.

Quite old and noisy. Very poor thermal insulation in the room that forced me to use the blanket on my shoulder as I sat at the small desk. Weak wifi signal. Perfect location. Good for very short business trips.

Pretty traditional Dutch hotel close to central station and University of Leiden on a canal. We spent 2 nights while attending a colleagues' farewell lecture. Clean and comfortable, although the mattresses were really soft! Room was on the small side, but a nice bathroom. The shower had good water pressure. Breakfast was good and we especially liked the hot toast....

The location is excellent, in the center of Leiden and near the Leiden university , parking is also easy for only 12 E 24/h The owner welcomed us when we arrived ,...

If you want to stay in a modern international hotel this is not your best option. We opted for a traditional Dutch experience and it was good. The hotel is in a beautiful street op Rapenburg in the heart of old town Leiden. Close to the train station, shops, restaurants, museums, etc. The stall is very helpful, the breakfast was...

This small hotel is well positioned about a 10 minute walk from the station, and in the central part of Leiden near most of the local sights. Some of the rooms are tiny indeed, but perfectly adequate as a base, and the bathroom in my room at least had been renovated nicely. The staircase indeed is remarkably steep but as...
