This is the perfect hotel to stay in Leiden. It is located mere seconds from the city centre, and is on a few minutes walk from the Central Station. The hotel is situated in a historical building and all its interior, common room, restaurant, and rooms, are furnished accordingly, keeping the overall charm of this place. The rooms are spacious,...

The hotel is well-located just a few minutes from the train station and close to shops and restaurants. First impressions were not good as the woman on the desk ignored me for a couple of minutes while she finished her paperwork. No information freely given either, like information about wifi, so I had to go down later and ask about...

This is a good place to stay and the location is great. We were there for a week because of a conference and it was fine. The matteesses were a little harder than i'm used to but in the end it was fine. The only inconvient is the fact that somehow the cards get demagnetized quite quickly. If it happens...

I loved the location of this hotel, really central but still fairly quiet in the room despite a huge amount of noise from outside (we stayed during Leiden's huge party weekend 2-4th October). The staff were friendly and helpful, especially reception and the room was ok, the wifi worked, there was a huge bed which was nice and it was...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. We booked using an online booking site and a few days before we arrived, it offered us an upgrade to an Executive Room for not very much money. We went for it because the room would be bigger, more comfortable and inlcuded tea making facilities. Our room was on the 3rd floor....

Even though the location is really good, the room (at least the one I got) is pretty small and tight. The bathroom is ok. The wifi didn`t fail me. Staff was nice and helpful. It is far from being a great hotel to spend your vacations, but if you only need a place to sleep during your tours, I would...

I had stayed in this hotel a couple of years back, and had a fairly good stay -- I gave the Rembrandt 3 stars back then. When I returned this year, however, the whole stay was a big DISAPPOINTMENT. I hardly ever write negative hotel reviews, but I felt this merited an exception. My room this time around was alright...

Indeed the location of the hotel is great. However some of the rooms , like 104 are to be avoided, as very odd shaped. While check-in staff are very helpful and friendly, the hotel seriously lacks management quality. Room of small size, cleaning not done, no toilet paper at arrival, cheap mattress, door did not open properly, etc... It is...

Well located close to the Beestenmarkt and the Oude Singel area. Car parking is available on meters outside the hotel. The rooms are small with few mod cons and the safety deposit box did not work (even after a visit by the hotel's electrician). The food at the restaurant was actually very good and I would recommend it although there...

The room (single) was very small, probably 2m x 4m, including the toilet. Given it was May, and the weather was changing, it was rather stressful that the thermostat was between the wall and the closet, where I could not read or change the setting. I asked the front desk to change the setting from their main control, which I...
