Boutiquehotel 'the Roosevelt' is the new hotel in Middelburg, the capital of Zeeland. You will find us in the middle of the medieval centre of Middelburg. The hotel is built on the borough where the city More thanks its name to. The street where the hotel is situated will bring you to the famous market square and beautiful town hall. At the back of the hotel you will find the largest shopping street of Middelburg and in a range of 500 metres the city offers over 30 restaurants. The hotel has 28 rooms in a Boutique style, which means all rooms are decorated differently. The interior has been designed especially for each room, we have 23 boutique-rooms and 5 boutique suites of which The Presidential suite is a spectacular suite. In the lounge we have our winebar d'Orient and a beautiful hotelgarden, an oasis of green in the middle of the city centre of Middelburg. We will have parking spaces in a parkinglot, which is monitored 24 hours a day, a few minutes distance of our hotel. Less

I had a great stay at the Roosevelt hotel. My room was comfortable and well designed. The hotel team were very friendly and helpful. I particularly liked the breakfasts, table service makes a nice change from the usual hotel buffet, and it was always a good selection. Would defin

I stayed in the Roosevelt for one night last week while on a business trip. The hotel is located in the Old Town Centre, near a pretty church (whose bells ring through the night but I did not hear them) and the large town square. The town centre is very attractive in the Dutch st

We stayed here for three nights at this immaculate and unusual hotel . Once we got used to the layout of our Duplex room, we enjoyed the ‘ garret’ feel to the bedroom element, and the bed was really comfortable.Breakfast was amazing, and the poached egg perfect.

Hi folks, I just wanted to confirm the cancellation policy and also ask which are the quietest rooms, and which overlook the garden? many thanks, Paul
Not sure about the cancellation policy, but it should be on their website (though at the moment it appears to have a problem) or one the booking sites. It is located in a fairly quiet spot apart from church bells, the majority of the rooms face inwards to the courtyard, the rooms we had were 26 - inward facing and therefore the ones either side also 14 which is ground floor with it's own patio and so is 15.

Buenos días. Queremos saber si admiten mascotas, tenemos un perro teckel muy tranquilo de 5 kg. Gracias, MB
"Rooms at the back would protect from nightly church bells."
"1st Floor or 2nd Floor"
"If you have mobility problems don't choose upper rooms which are accessed by narrow staircases."
"All the rooms are 'quirky', it depends if you like that sort of thing."
"Be careful if you choose a 'comfort' room, their euphemism for cheapest, and not air conditioned"
