The apartment is in a perfect location to enjoy Utrecht. Spacious with very comfortable upstairs bedroom and lower floor living space with kitchen and outdoor rooftop patio. Very close to Dom tower, shopping, good beer (go to Olivier's!), and just a 10 minute walk from centraal station. We arrived on a Saturday with the outdoor market and shopping at its... More

If you keep your expectations tempered, Rosendael is a wonderful longer-term stay option. The apartment we stayed in is two levels - a downstairs with complete kitchen, dining table, and a living area (sofa, chairs, etc.) and an upstairs with bed and bath. The bathroom is large and has a shower only. It also has a washing machine, so you... More

We stayed here for a week in April. Location is one of the best in Utrecht, within walking distance of everything. And the apartment is quite outstanding. Large livingroom with kitchen, huge terrace, TV, free and fast wifi, and comfortable furniture. Breakfast is all OK, but you make your own tea or coffee. Upstairs is the large bedroom with a... To say that the entrance to Rosendael is discreet would be an understatement. It is in an unprepossessing and rather characterless little alley off a shopping street which we walked past three times before spotting the tiny little notice telling us to ring the bell for the next door house where Hans, the lively and colourful owner, lives. Once inside,... More

I stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and four year-old daughter based on the previous reviews and we weren't disappointed! It was everything we had been led to believe it was - so central in Utrecht, very comfortable, great breakfast, gorgeous decor and a helpful host. With a child, the fact that it's a duplex was brilliant... More

We stayed here for just 2 nights and now wish we had stayed many more. Utrecht is one of the most beautiful cities to visit at any time of the year and our trip was made all the more perfect by our wonderful host Hans. As other visitors have mentioned, the breakfast was fantastic and filling for the day. The... More

In the center of Utrecht. It feels like home, clean, with interesting decoration and very good breakfast! The owner is very kind and helpful. In the apartment you can find the museumkaart that gives free entrance in many museums of Amsterdam.

My husband and I stayed here for five nights and we would have no hesitation in staying here again. Its well located and very well appointed. Hans was very friendly and knowledgeable about local restaurants, shops and other areas to visit. Breakfast was great and very generous (and Hans was keen that anything left over was used for our lunch).... More

This one bedroom apartment with breakfast was perfect for our stay in Utrecht. We had never been to the city before and new very little as to what it had to offer. The location of Hans' apartment was perfect. We phoned Hans from the Amsterdam Central Station to see when we could check-in. He was just getting the apartment ready... More

“One thing to mention is the very steep stairs however this is part of inner city living and part of the charm of a typical Dutch house, but if you have trouble climbing or descending this could be an issue.”
