We stayed here for 1 night, my daughter, wife and my myself on a short break from Dublin. The Hotel itself is very modern with cool interior and clean, our room had a lovely view of Utrecht. I enjoyed watching people cycling around the city from our Room on the 7th floor. The Room had a full length window which is fantastic. The tv had a nice selection of english speaking channels. The Reception team were friendly and efficient, You know that they work hard and care about the customer. The Breakfast was tasty. What I like about Holland is that there always seems to be chocolate available in some shape or form for Breakfast. Thumbs up for the biscuit and chocolate hundreds and thousands. The pool is on the top floor, it is a really nice place to relax and watch the trains coming and going from the train Station. The Hotel is located just outside a shopping centre and a number of places to eat. Overall I really enjoyed this Hotel.

Our visit to the wellness room was in our opinion not worth the price. There are other hotels that have a better overall experience and service. Things that were dissapointed are: - the jacuzzi was smaller than shown on the pictures. It was a square bath instead of a round bath. - some smaller things you expect when paying a large sum for a hotel night like: there were no glasses, there were almost no thee bags, there was no menu in the room, there were almost no toilet articles like bath soap and finally, no personal touch like a welcoming letter and so. - due to Corona the service was limited. Which is logical. Still a few things could be better like: -the explanation of food services at the reception when checking in; -there is no other option then ordering at the room then do not charge an extra sum for that service; -nowhere was mentioned you can order till 20.00 pm. In the introletter it said 22.00 pm; -breakfast was one the room due to Corona, but felt like a school lunch where you got plastic boards with an apple and some sandwiches So I would say that if you are looking for that romantic and wellness weekend there are much better hotels.

Dear Amanda, Thank you for your time and effort to write this review. I truly regret to read your stay in our hotel did not entirely live up to your personal expectations. We always try to make a stay as comfortable and memorable as possible, so we're sorry to read that this wasn't the case. The room we made ready for you was the Wellness Suite, we hoped you loved the upgrade from the Wellness room to the Suite. Since the only difference is that the large whirlpool is square instead of round. But we'll make sure to share this information right away at check-in. And please let us know next time when you are dissatisfied with the room. We would like to get the chance to solve it right away. Hopefully, you'll give us another chance in the future. With warm regards, Vivian Guest relations

We decided to take a last minute train trip and stay a night in Utrecht. This hotel was brand new and right by the train station so I felt it would be a good place to use as homebase while exploring the city. Since all the websites state this hotel accepts pets we brought our dog and jumped on the train. First night - no issues. Hotel staff were great. Social distancing well done. All fine. We enjoyed the city so much we decided to stay an additional night. Day two - left for breakfast and to walk the dog. Came back to the hotel to change for the day and was accosted by a very rude hotel receptionist. She basically told us that pets were not allowed on property and asked us how we booked a room with a dog. I told her that the website we booked with clearly stated that they accept pets and that we had been here overnight already. She said it was a new policy and that they no longer accept pets. This was in August of 2020. It's now December and all the booking sites I've looked up still state this location accepts pets. I explained to her that the other receptionists for the past 24 hrs. have seen us with our dog at check-in and coming and going and nothing was ever said. And I guess she just let it go since we didn't hear anything more. I wouldn't have booked here had I known the policy. On the last day we decided to use the pool since it was still open (even during Covid). Big mistake. There was no social distancing, No one was monitoring the guests. It was a free for all and even though the sign said no more than 4 people it was not being followed. We didn't stay long at the pool. Overall the room was fine and the location can't be beat. I just wished the staff would have treated us with respect and as an honored guest, not like a criminal. Or fix the websites to reflect your true policy so we aren't duped into staying here with our dog. Won't stay here again. I will say the other two staff members who checked us in and were there the first 24 hrs. were amazing.

Room Tip: Call the hotel first before bringing your dog. As we were told they do not allow pets - though...

Dear Matt and Kyle, Thank you again for your visit and constructive critics and taking the time to give us feedback. We are pleased you chose our hotel of all the hotels in Utrecht. I have shared the comment about the regulations regarding the pets with the team right away. I'm very sorry that there was a misunderstanding regarding this policy. The policy has indeed changed since last year, so it is unfortunate that this happened after you booked your stay. We will definitely make sure this doesn't happen in the future. Also, we're sorry to read that guests didn't follow our strict rules in the wellness. Please let us know right away so we can act immediately. It is our primary goal to ensure our guests feel comfortable and that they fully enjoy their visits. We are eager to regain your confidence during another occasion if you give us that chance. On the other hand, we're pleased that you loved your stay and even extended it for another night. Hopefully, we get the chance to welcome you back in the future. Kind regards, Vivian Guest relations

I booked this hotel blind, as I chose it for its proximity to the train station and the centre of Utrecht. Upon arrival, I was very happy to see they are treating the Covid 19 pandemic seriously. They had a clearly defined entrance and exit channel marked out with hand sanitizer stations set up too. The lift had a clearly marked max number of people allowed on and social distancing markings on the floor. The staff were very courteous and friendly at reception and were very helpful with information on services, such as bike hire, etc. I was on the tenth floor. The room was well appointed with all the creature comforts you'd expect and a good view out over the city. I had booked including breakfast and, again, was pleased to see the protocols they had in place for C 19. There were clearly defined in and out doors, with a one way system in operation. Hand sanitisation on entry and well spaced out seating. None of these measures intruding in the experience. There is a nice leisure area here too, a small pool and a small gym area, both of which I used. I had an early checkout on my final day, as my flight home was an early one. The hotel prepared a substantial packed breakfast for me to take away on my departure. All in all, an enjoyable stay there. It was good value for money and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a central location to stay in. I will definitely be staying here when I revisit again, soon, I hope.

Nice hotel centrally located within walking distance of the city. Nice and helpful staff, all are very friendly. Everything worked as it should. Nice room with a bed that slept wonderfully and a super large window with a view over the railway lines.
