Perfectly situated for access to the beautiful city of Haarlem and of course Amsterdam. My wife and I stayed for two nights with our two children ages 7 and 12 years in a room for 4. Everything was very clean and tidy and although very simple, it was exactly what we needed. We found it very peaceful without any disruptions...

I would highly recommend. Staff was very professional, nice and helpful. Very good, tasty and fresh food every day. I have no objections. The only drawback is the location. Hostel is located very far from the center - about 5km.

I stayed at the Haarlem Stayokey for 2 nights. I had great roommates both nights in a 6 bed girls dorm room. The rooms were big, clean, with shower and bath in the room. I had booked a few hours earlier and had a smooth check-in. The hostel is a ways from the central station but a bus will deliver...

Lots of things you need to do by yourself, but the staff is very helpful and friendly. We missed a lot like a tv and even towels, but for this price a B&B is on 20 minutes by bus to the lively centre of Haarlem not available in mid and high season. You have to make your own bed with...

We stayed here for 3 nights. Yes it was a way out of town (although the bus was regular and easy, note though no adult return fares or day riders makes travel quite costly), but the hostel itself was a 25 minute walk from the lovely country park (so well located in itself). The hostel itself is clean and well looked...

We had left Belgium on our way to Amsterdam to take in the sights. Decided not to go into the city and spending tons of looking for a hotel. We used good ole Tom Tom, to find a place in the closest town, Haarlem. Well Tom Tom took us to some place in neverland and was run out of town...

I spent 2 nights in this hostel with my girlfriend. The room was clean and the position was great, in a quiet place near a park. The bus stop to the city centre is just in front of the hostel, otherwise you can hire a bike and arrive in the center in 15 minutes. The staff is really kind and...

A few friends and I booked in here last minute after a long trip around Europe and a few heavy days in Amsterdam. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and the breakfast was filling. The staff were friendly and helped us with any questions, anytime. Location wise the hotel is a short bus ride (bus stop right out the front) into...

I have just got back from a 2 night stay at Stayokay Haarlem with 4 friends. We had a 6 bed dorm room between us. We stayed here as we were going on a budget and it was the cheapest we could find. The room itself was okay, there were bunk beds which were sturdy and comfortable. The was an...

This one is far from the main train station in Haarlem ( i did not know) there is another one closer if you are coming from Amsterdam. Nicely sitauted if you are a sports addict. Park to run and exercice. Not too far from highway if you are by car. Cool city but i don't like the old city centre...

Enjoy some culture, visit a museum or go shopping? Or do you prefer wandering through nature, cycling between the dunes, going for a walk on the beach? It’s all possible in and around Haarlem. Furthermore, ‘Heavenly Haarlem’ – the ‘northern city with southern flamboyancy’ – has an extremely central location: the bulb fields, the windmills of Zaanse Schans and the city of Amsterdam are all within easy reach.
