All of the staff were excellent - very polite and courteous. The hotel had a nice small "feel" to it. Check-in process was pleasant and swift. The room itself was located at the front - the traffic noise was a pain. The ensuite was pleasant - other than the shower head had a mind of its own and kept twisting...

This is a small hotel right next to the main train station at Haarlem. Being next to the train station, its location is very convenient. Sleep quality can be challenging because there's traffic starting early morning. My room was on the smaller side but big enough for 1 person. WiFi worked reliably and the breakfast was basic but good. I...

I stayed here for 1 night. The hotel is directly opposite the bus and train station. We missed and walked straight past the first time! The hotel is also known as hotel lion d'0r and that is was the sign says on the building. It is very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is lovely and the staff were very good...

My friend and I stayed in Haarlem to save money because the hotels in Amsterdam were very expensive. This hotel was a two minute walk to the train station and a 25 train ride into Amsterdam. This was the 2nd highest priced hotel I stayed at during my 3 week trip in Europe, but was worth the money for the...

We decided to make Haarlem our base for day trips to Amsterdam, The Hague and Utrecht, and were very happy we did so. There is a bus directly from Schiphol Airport to the station square in Haarlem, where the hotel is located. Our room was huge, had a nice view of the square, and was very well equipped. Excellent bathroom...

Hotel is about 150m from main train/bus station in Haarlem. We chose this location because trains run every 10 minutes into Amsterdam. It's less than 15 minutes. Can also catch airport bus for 5Euro. They run every 15 minutes. Within three blocks are two grocery/dept. stores. Restaurants everywhere and a "coffee" shop is within 50m. Booked direct with the hotel...

We were only there a few hours, but the room was in a great location and was good size. My room was a couple of steps up after going upstairs. There may have been another elevator that went to this part of the hotel, but if you can't do two steps, be sure to let them know.

Excellent service and location. Perfectly quiet room, especially considering close proximity to train and bus depo. Comfortable beds, nice bath, great breakfast, perfect location for visiting Haarlem and easy access to trains to Amsterdam as well as the bus to airport.

We stayed here on two different occasions and both times were given friendly and helpful service such as finding information about the bus to the airport and the train to Amsterdam. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed being able to open the windows. The breakfast was delicious and we were allowed to make our own eggs...
