I stayed here for 4 nights with my 2 children (6&8 years old) and my mother. We all loved staying on a boat and the location is fantastic. Feels incredibly peaceful and safe yet is minutes away from all the action. The two brothers from Frederics were really helpful and friendly - letting us check in early, giving us hints...

We were two couples and stayed in a very pleasant house on Brouwersgracht which was decorated with original art work. Everything was clean and well kept. It had a modern kitchen with a large table where we gathered for drinks and conversation. The bathroom was spacious. The second bed was a pull, out couch which was not ideal, but comfortable enough....

My wife and I stayed on houseboat V for 10 days. She's spacious, but somewhat run-down The pluses: Great location Charming views from the pilot house Lots of cabins (by boat standards) Being on the water gives one. The minuses: Fire hazard: the boat has propane but no alarm and no bilge blower. The forepeak, where the bunks are, has...

Thank you for reviewing your stay ! The houseboat you stayed in, as all of our accommodations, are safe and meet the safety standards. So no worries to have there :) The bathroom light and internet problem have been fixed. We would be happy to welcome you again, on another houseboat or on one of our charming apartments! We stayed in the Houseboat V on the canal. While it was cool to be right on the canal, the boat itself has its limited appeal. Yes, you're on a boat, but unless you can peak through one of the tiny portholes, you don't see the water. There is a cabin on deck with lots of windows, but we couldn't...

Thank you for reviewing your stay Richard. This very authentic boat, built in 1905, has indeed it's little things. But this is a very typical boat for Amsterdam and we are sorry you did not fully liked your experience there. We would be happy to have you try another one of our houseboat, a more common one :) The Frederic...

Loved, loved, loved this place! We were greeted by two friendly men in the office and were able to check in early. Our apartment for four people was on the second floor (third for those of us in the US) and was a climb up some narrow stairs, as are most places in Amsterdam! It was a lovely two floored...

So it was our second day in Amsterdam and once again got lost.. Realised how easy it was to find and found it! We went into the shop and as it was a sunday it was 10euros to rent the bike until 5:30pm, so we decided to go ahead with that. My partner and I loved how quiet it was...

We stayed in Noordermarkt II, one of the apartments rented by "Frederic Rent a Bike," with our family of 7 (Grandparents, adult kids and grandkids). It is in an old building, above a restaurant/bar, so be aware it can be noisy at night. There are two flights of narrow stairs to climb before reaching the apartment, then another narrow flight...

Thank you very much for reviewing your stay with us. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed staying in this 17th century canal house, although the minor issues it can imply (stairs, layout of the house...). We will be happy to welcome you again in the future. Frederic Team

Everything was just as expected and as advertised. Frederic works like Air BnB but you pay cash when you arrive. Everything was very clear and the apartment was very nice. Thank you for sharing your opinion about our Picasso room. We are sincerely sorry we did not meet your expectations. Our guesthouse is situated in a 17th century canal house.
