Great location (5 min from central station and city center)! Check-in in the restaurant next to he hotel's door, good breakfast. Room basics but enough comfortable if you just want to sleep. The only thing put me off was the WINDOW VIEW (ac unit and rubbish) and darkness, so prepare yourself! Definitely worth to stay if you are planing city...

The place is well suited if you are planning to be out for most of the day, and back only to sleep. Location is ideal...especially if you need to travel to other parts of Holland. We had a 4-bed and a 3-bed room. The 3-bed room was street facing and really nice compared to the 4-bed room. May not be...

Room was spotlessly clean and modern. Location was great very central to train station, Dam Square & Red Light district. A lot of stairs to third floor but worth it and staff were all very helpful, would go back and would recommend:)

We stayed here for one weekend, and the hotel turned out to be perfectly adequate but nothing special. Our room was on the third floor, and it was quite a struggle carrying two suitcases up the narrow spiral staircase. It's unusual in that the reception is inside the pizza restaurant, once signed in you go back onto the street and...

Bed was broken, shower didn't change temperature, floor was constantly wet. This was leat enjoyable as it was such an inconvenience when you cannot move around the room die to the floor. Also the health risks of a damp room.

if you're going to Amsterdam for luxury then don't book here but if you only plan on using the hotel for sleeping and showering then it fulfils that criteria. We only slept here and got ready so it was fine plus it's in the perfect location as everything is within walking distance!

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

“Noisy and cold room, with a permanent bad smell from the bathroom's pipes, we thought. Noisy because the windows were very big, leading to the main road with a lot of traffic and noisy partywanderers at night. Besides, they didn't close well and that's the same reason why it was cold. However, there was heating in the room, but it was never on. Apart from that, the Internet connection was really poor.”

“i think you should ask for a lower appurtenant but if u dont care to go up 3 floors so it dose not meter i think the upper apartment are more clean? תבקשו חדר בקומה נמוכה כי זה סיוט המדרגות באמטרדם עם המזוודות , אבל אם לא אכפת לכם אז אני חושב שהחדרים בקומות העליונות יותר נקיים”
