The hotel location is perfect, with bus and tram routes into the centre about 2 mins walk away, and a supermarket and various shops even closer, which provides a cheap breakfast and essential grooming needs. If you would like to walk into the centre of Amsterdam from the hotel, it will take about an hour. The facilities of the hotel... More

The lifts stank of smoking. The room wasn't dusted, only one set of towels were there for the 2 of us. €20 Breakfast was the worse I ever had. Dry food, coffee machine broken. Not staying there again!

Nice Hotel with good public transport connections to the city centre. If you for example want to get back to the hotel after a night out its a pretty long walk though, so you have to take a cab. Rooms and breakfast are very good.

Clean and comfortable room, very polite staff, nice breakfast. I think they could improve the soundproofing and the visa machine cause there was a problem and we had to pay cash. There is a bus station really close to the hotel and a supermarket.

My trust in Best Western, gone. The company needs to disassociate themselves with the management of this hotel for the sake of their brand, it's a shambles. After we were offered two rooms, both of which weren't up to basic standards, we moved hotels entirely. The fact the hotel lost its license to sell alcohol should raise alarm bells. It... More

I was in this hotel with my wife for 3 nights in October (Halloween period) because the most part of the hotels were completely booked. From the website it seemed to be a good hotel, but the reality was different. The hall of the hotel and our room were awfully dirty and old fashioned. We asked to change the room... More

We really enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is very clean. Right around the corner there is a market where you can do some shopping. It is very easy to go to the Central Station by bus. There is a park nearby if you want to have a walk.

Ive stayed here couple of times. Such a great room with many features in the room, for a very cheap price. Good tv, nice bed, and even bath. I payed about 50 euros for a room, its hard to find such a room in Amsterdam. Also the room is not so small either. I Will visit again.

We needed to first ask to change the room which we first got on the first floor which was cod and small. We got another room which was better but during this period there was a drunken man living on the same floor who banged in the middle of the night on doors and also on our door. Our sleep... More

The receptionists are nice and helpful but the room was not up to a 4 star. Dated furniture, missing baseboards and then the walls were ruined. Even the location is inconvenient, 20 minutes by bus from the center. I would not recommend it.
