After landing in heavy fog, we had low expectations of the city stay - but thankfully once the Uber dropped us off here, the clouds soon cleared - and we were in the best location in town. The staff helped us take a canal trip. Room was spacious. Coffee options in room could have been better - little bit basic...

Hotel itself is alright, rooms are small but acceptable. What is not acceptable is their Operational Manager-Gigi. We had an accident, we reported the problem and wanted to resolve it. Hotel Manager responded with "only accept perfect customers"; taking complaints personally; super unprofessional; we are disgusted with the attitudes we experienced. Will never return to this place. Hotel should revise...

There is an elevator to the third floor but to get to the fourth floor there is spiral staircase. We were on the fourth floor and found the arrangement fine, just a not more effort with luggage. The view up there is great.

We walked outside the airport and a cab driver pulled right up to assist us.

Although we greeted him in Dutch he spoke perfect English.(Keep in mind most cabs seemed to be Black Mercedes.)

It was very convenient and driver was very friendly. The cost one way I thought was around 45 euros.

Yes, the Times Hotel has an elevator serving 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor of the hotel. The 1st floor is only accessible by stairs. The 5th floor is only accessible by elevator + stairs. Guests who cannot go up the stairs are advised to contact us in advance so that we can pre-reserve a room reachable by elevator, if available on the day of arrival.

Kind regards,

Yes I was under the same impression about payment! All was ok though, we upgraded to a canal view room (worth the extra) and just had to pay for this at checkout. Afraid I don't know about irons
