We spent 4 nights in the apartment at the first floor. Location of B&B is great and all major attractions are within walking distance. Even though in the center, street was very quite and the host was very nice and helpful with all our inquiries. Breakfast included plenty of food. Definitely recommend!

A very nice host, very helpful. Good location. Nice room, but not more than that. Very noisy neigbours and very much noise from the street. Noisy floor (made of wood). The breakfast is mainly cold : nice but not too impressive for the price. Very steep stairs. The sheets and towels were not changed every day. In conclusion: i give...

Fridge was stocked daily and breakfast was as best a cold breakfast could be. Rudy was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. Perfect location, within 5/10 minutes walk from everything, including small supermarket. Cleaned every day with fresh towels. Bed was excellent, feet did stick over the end (6ft3) but was very comfortable. Not having any kind of reception...

Stayed 5 nights. Location is unbeatable. We walked everywhere and streets are very safe. There's a grungy "coffee shop" next door and construction across the street. Neither bothered us. Two points: first of all, stairs are very steep and plentiful. We were on second floor up 2 very long and narrow flights. The owners let us know just before we...

We booked the suite, which has a nice spacious sitting room, table, fridge, microwave, and futon. The bedroom could be sectioned off with curtains. The continental breakfast was generous, with fresh bread every morning. We had a nice time with wonderful hosts. We'd highly recommend the Palace B&B.

My mum and I stayed at the Palace B&B for 3 nights and could not be happier with our stay. We arrived late in the evening but one of the owners (Rudy) was waiting up for us and helped bring our luggage inside. Rudy also gave us a map and explained about the area and which restaurants to visit etc....

My wife and I came to Amsterdam for a long awaited vacation, and stayed for 5 nights at Rudy & Pia's B&B. It started perfect and only got better :) The location is just perfect. City center, close to everything you can possibly look for in Amsterdam and public transportation is just around the corner. Even though there are construction...

We stayed at the Palace B&B for five nights. The location is great...near Dam Square and an easy walk to all major attractions and/or public transportation. We were greeted each morning with a large bag of fresh (delicious) bread products hanging on our door. Our hosts (Rudy and Pia) could not have been nicer. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
