The room is very cozy and clean, very well lit and the house is in a quiet area but close to the center. Breakfast is superb, serverd in the room with canal view. I'll stay here again next time I am in town. Thank you Charlotte, you made our stay really pleasant!!

Although it is picturesque but to avoid disappointment. You can see the canal only if you look sideways. Other rooms have garden view.

I travelled with two friends and seeking a triple room is not easy but Jordaan was a find. A good location in the lovely Jordaan district. What made this such a lovely experience for us was that our room really became a studio apartment with Charlotte serving us breakfast in our room each morning. All we had to do was...

Everything is perfect: view, neighbourhood, services (guides, umbrellas, breakfast served in the room, no sound from other rooms), a slight reserve though on the shower in the bathroom.

This nice group of ladies prefered a shower- curtain instead of the bathrooms full space to shower in. This is the second time that this remark was made since we re-opend after a huge renovation in September. We're happy to know this and to be told also that the showers itself are great. We do keep the shower-curtain idea in...

perfect location, good value family room (even excellent for Amsterdam !). Very pleasant and comfortable, quiet, and ideal to fall in love with Jordan and stroll along the canals.

We enjoyed staying in this familiar place in jordaan quatier. Nice room, friendly hosts, good breakfast, interesting talks and special recommandations concerning our programme. During the night it was a very quiet atmosphere, so we could sleep very good.

We have enjoyed our journey at the comfortable B&B Jordaan because it is well located, and because our purpose was to make discover Amsterdam to our 3 children. During our 5 days stay, we have done all our deplacements by foot, except our return, one day, from the Tropenmuseum to the city center (because walking in the museum also had...

It is good to understand what made this family-of-5 NOT entirely happy (only 22 out of 25 points). We’re therefore pleased that they responded to our review-request. But also very sorry that we were told too late. Together with the E-mails we exchanged before reservation I now understand that they did not fully realize that a hall (in a home)...

Very nice b&b! It's in a perfect location (the Jordaan): a quiet area, but very close to the center. The Jordaan itself is very lively and has some very nice restaurants. Charlotte gave us some very good hints for restaurants as well as places to go during the day. The room is large and very clean. Breakfast is served in...

The B&B Jordaan was a very nice B&B. Our room was very nice and clean, it was on the groud floor and we had a little flowergarden where to sit and to have a cup of coffee or a glas of wine. The place was very quiet and peaceful and Charlotte was very friendly and helpful. The situation was superb...

We stayed for 2 nights in a small, comfortable room with our "own" little garden. Charlotte, the owner, is very friendly and knowledgeable, so she can help you with just about anything you want to know. The Jordaan area is quiet yet centrally located. Wonderful streets to just walk around and explore. We found a take-out organic restaurant, a great...

The Jordaan is in my opinion the nicest area of Amsterdam and the B&B is perfectly placed to be a great base for a stay. It is within walking distance to most of the main attractions. The room was clean, functional and basic, but the best thing about B&B Jordaan was Charlotte who could not have been nicer or more...

Staying in Jordaan

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
