I've stayed in many hostels throughout Europe and this ranked as one of my least favourite, although it's all minor problems that I had. I stayed in a 6 bed and there were only 2 other beds taken yet the room felt small with only half capacity. The room has storage but you need a padlock for it. The guy...

My 5 friends and I decided to book a last minuet weekend trip to Amsterdam to celebrate a birthday. As European hostels go, Amsterdam Hostel Center was very overpriced and small. We had an issue with paying as soon as we arrived, finding out the "deposit" we paid in fact was not a deposit but a retainer on our room....

I have stayed in a few hostels in my time but this wasn't the best. The toilet next to our room stank the whole time. If you can make it into the toilet and manage to close the door you may struggle to sit down... it brings a new meaning to small!!! Storing luggage is a problem if you have...

The hostel is located about 15 min (€2) tram ride from central station. It is in a very good location, lots of bars restaurants and shops around. Reception are very nice - give u free maps and tips. Stairs up to room are incredibly steep, it's a struggle after a week! Room gets very humid when full. Even with windows...

Shared an 8 bed dorm with 7 friends for 3 nights. Staff were friendly, rooms and bathroom were nice and clean, beds were comfortable, location was amazing and a great price. It's not living in luxury, but for ~€18 per night this was a great deal.

This is a just one night, need a place a place to crash, kind of hostel. Very inexpensive price. Room is tiny, shower/toilet/sink is all in one and very tiny. No elevator, steep stairs. Pro: There was Wi-Fi, staff was nice, and bed was surprisingly comfy for the night

A very very central place to stay in Amsterdam with a lot of places to eat and having fun next to it. The personal of the hostel is very helpful. Rooms are clean but the bathroom was no that good. We had a room in the last flour and the stairs are very inclined so we finish the stay with...

We went here at this hostel when we was in Amsterdam this week backpacking. The weather was warm, and so was it inside. We lived at the top floor, and there was no ventilation or aircondition, just a small window for no usage. The price is also high for the quality of the hostel, 24€ Not really to recomend..

Hostel was tiny and hard to find. The room was small and unclean, the bathroom setup was weird (one wet room with a toilet, sink, and shower all in the same room, and one shower room, that was literally just a shower with a door and no shelves or ventilation), and right across from a live music bar which played...

We stayed as part of our interrailing trip around Europe. THe hostel is in an excellent location close to the main town and in an area with many places to eat and just round the corner from a bike rental shop and a short walk to the area with the van gogh museum and IAMsterdam sign. The basics of a...
