We had a wonderful stay @ Loydd Hotel (2 adults, 3 kids). The room was splendid (a bed for 8 - green bathroom, small climbing wall for the kids, nice design), staff very friendly Perfect location to go to Amsterdam city also (10 minutes to the centre with the tram), and good to reach with car. We will come back...

The Lloyd Hotel and Cultural Embassy is the first 1-to-5 star hotel in the world. It was born out of a curiosity for cultural baggage, a historic building, a deep knowledge of Dutch design traditions, groundbreaking explorers and a zest for making guests feel welcome. We booked the hotel for an event which was very successful. Friendly and helpful staff.

we stayed with 4 kids for 6 days. Great experience. Nice staff, very helpful. A swing in the room - a great novelty. Great overall atmosphere and location excellent for exploring Amsterdam and surrounding areas. We know Amsterdam well and know that hotel standards vary a lot - this one comes highly recommended

Booked here last minute so we paid a lot, but that was our fault i suppose! Stayed in a 1 star bedroom (they have different bedrooms with different standards). This was a large room, very clean, comfortable large bed, desk. No wardrobe, just 4 hangers on a water pipe on the wall, which was a bit annoying. The decor is...

We had a pleasant stay at the Lloyd and would consider it again. It does have some extremely quirky features that appeal to my artistic, bohemian nature. Read the history of the hotel!! However, I wasn't happy to find the shower head sticking out of the wall in our room with only a drain, no curtain to contain it or...

Loved our experience at LLoyds-- we had 5 star room 601 which is in one of the garrets and is nicely set up for a family. There is an open beamed wooden peaked ceiling, cement floors, and the king sized bed is attached to a sort of upholstered platform for lounging. The bathroom is a free standing pod triptych made...

I stayed in the Lloyd Hotel for 3 nights with my boyfriend. The hotel staff was extremely kind and the room was nice, with excellent beds. The shared bathroom were extremely clean too and we never had to wait, which was one of the things we actually feared. Even if the hotel is not located in the centre, two of...

We enjoyed the very friendly and open service people: Real characters and not humble and of selfconcious personality. Also the aerea is interesting in aspects of new urban development for thousands of people where before was a harbour aerea. Also the rooms were very nice exept that it needed time for us to get familiar with having the toilette in...

My friend and I stayed a couple of nights here - this time in the 1* accommodation (visited 6 years ago and tried 2*) - beautiful big room (412 - 3 beds), lovely, crisp linen, perfect beds (and I'm very fussy!). The communal areas are brilliantly designed. The restaurant and reception staff are so totally lovely, helpful, thoughtful and kind....
