Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.

Stayed 4 nights in a Superior room with view. Well worth the money as the view was spectacular, and the room spacious and comfortable. The nespresso machine was a nice touch. The breakfasts are very good, though the gluten free options were a bit limited. 5 mins walk to the

I ubered and want to say it was about 25-30 euros. Uber was generally always much cheaper than taxi service.

"Top floor with view to the canel is recommended"
"Please be aware that the location of the hotel is more easy to access from the airport through city express bus, rather than the train."
"Ask for canal view."
"Our room had a view of the canal which was not in the E M Forster category but not bad and better than looking at a brick wall."
"Rooms view either canal or interior courtyard which is quite lovely and landscaped"
