Just got home from our romantic getaway in Amsterdam. Before we even left the UK communication from the manager (Angelo) was friendly, our directions were clear and everything ready for us. As it was our anniversary Angelo had a bottle of bubbly for us the room was spotless and thought the towel swan was a elegant touch. We were in...

Spent 2 nights at this B & B which has been very tastefully renovated with spacious rooms with everything you need and help yourself to breakfast which catered for everyone. There is a small stairway access but this is common in Amsterdam. Angelo was very friendly and helpful and would recommend staying here yo

We consider ourselves lucky to have been able to book the deluxe room at this place at short notice (must have been a cancellation). What an amazing B&B, how many B&B's have a Jacuzzi? The deluxe room is also at the back of the premises so you get no noise from the road outside. The location of this place makes...

We could not have asked for more from our Amsterdam accommodation. Angelo is an awesome guy and was always there to offer assistance or just a friendly chat. My fiancé is planning future anniversaries in Amsterdam so we can come to crown b&b for another visit. Very comfortable and with a great vibe. Warning for snack people though the stroopwaffle...

The location of this place is excellent - walking distance to Centraal and all major attractions. The building itself is beautiful and historic although this means steep stairs (very steep stairs). Luckily Angelo and his friend Zeus were on hand to help haul the luggage up. The room was great and the windows did a great job at blocking the...

Let’s address the steps everybody mentions in their reviews. We are in our 70’s and climbed those steps for 3 days. Angelo carries your bags up and down plus he was great helping us out on what to do while Amsterdam. You just have to be careful and take your time on the steps. Angelo was also in excellent communication...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
