Such a cool experience to stay on a house boat. This place was very luxurious, the décor was beautiful, floor to ceiling windows. Sitting on the deck was so fun to just relax and watch the city go by.

Had to dig a bit to find this place on the internet but glad we did. We came in on the train from the airport and pulled our bags the short distance to the boat. We arrived at the boat before 8:00 AM and were met and allowed to check in. Amazing service. We stayed in the smaller apt but...

First time in Amsterdam ... What a great way to experience the the city that evolves around it's canals! Roomy, spotless clean, very welcoming, great location - this by itself could be the place's recommendation. Add to this the experience of life on the canal: boats passing by, people waving, ducks and swans rushing over whenever you step outside to...

Was the best decision I made when visiting Amsterdam. The houseboat is neat, clean and beatifully designed. It gave a perfect comfort for us. And most importantly, the location is just perfect. Walking to all of the city's highlight was easy. It was a perfect weather when we stayed there so we spent time sitting on its porch, and boats...

Very nice and modern houseboat. Great location, easy access by walking or taxi (use Taxi/MCA) app. Interesting location but be prepared for a little noise from the neighborhood bars across the canal. Lots of boat traffic makes it interesting.

The Guest-Houseboat is the best place to stay for a romantic getaway in Amsterdam. Very well located and close to some of the main attractions, it's about a 10 minute walk from central station and Dam Square and just up the road from Anne Frank's house.  The Houseboat lies on one of the most beautiful canals and offers everything you...

Staying in Jordaan

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
