Hotel 717 would be an excellent choice for visitors to Amsterdam. It is brilliant located, scenic as it overlooks the Prinsengracht Canal, and a few steps away from the efficient tram. Staff were very welcoming to a fault nothing seems too much trouble. The Schubert suite was huge with five large picturesque shuttered windows. The antique furniture, pictures and ornaments...

Seven One Seven contributed to my very positive experience of Amsterdam. I came for a long week end, travelling from Lesotho for a week end of kris yoga and really needed a quiet and beautiful place to relax me from this long trip. The hotel is in a typical Amsterdam house, beautifully decorated and with very friendly welcoming, The room...

We had the good fortune to stay at the Hotel 717 this last weekend. My brother- in- law found this for us and it was our good fortune he did. This hotel was like staying at a beautiful European private residence. We were treated with exceptional service, kindness and respect. We always felt the staff was genuinely happy to help...

Excellent hotel/townhouse. Very friendly staff. Helped us with luggage up those challenging stairs to 3rd floor. Very large room and nice bathroom. We arrived from the States early 8 am and dropped the luggage, 5 min walk to Rijk and boat tour etc and came back to find our luggage in our room all ready. Rested up and spent the...

717 is a gem of a boutique hotel, located on Prinsengracht, close to the museums and a wide range of restaurants and bars. The service was friendly and excellent. Breakfasts were delicious with some of the best coffee I remember having in an hotel.

I stayed at 717 with my two teenage sons in the Picasso suite, which was a beautifully appointed room with high ceilings and big windows overlooking the canal on Prinsengracht. It was steps from the tram which took us everywhere we needed to go, but also within walking distance of the museums and shopping. The staff are very helpful, and...

We loved our stay here. It's more beautiful guest house than hotel as there isn't a restaurant or spa etc facilities. We stayed in the Tolkien room which was absolutely beautiful. Stunning interior design, extremely comfortable bed, lovely linens, chopard products in the bathroom, B & O tv. The staff could not have been more kind or helpful. Breakfast is...

Unique hotel in the middle of the nostalgic Amsterdam canal belt. Situated in one of the old canal houses, this boutique hotel offers neat service and homey rooms which are among the most spacious rooms you'll find in the nostalgic city centre. All of the rooms come with a unique layout and furniture which i found to be warm and...

You have to know the stairs are very very steep, nothing for people with problems. Service is nice, breakfast very good, Sunday night no food in the hotel, had to be picked up from a nearby restaurant
