We always appreciate feedback guests leave us with. We are very sorry to hear that the issues with the sound have influenced your stay in hotel Roemer, and Amsterdam badly. It is completely understandable that when going away for a nice weekend you want to relax and sleep in. Our staff is 24 hours a day at your disposal and when it comes to complaints regarding noise, or any other issue, you can always let us know and we'll swiftly take care of it. Calling our reception is of course always possible as well. Of course we know this will not help now anymore and we would really like to apologize. Our staff has been notified about your review and we are currently working on door stops as well. Thank you for the mention regarding room 14, this was luckily immediately resolved that day. Despite everything that happened during your stay we still appreciate your kind words regarding our receptionist. But also about the bar, the overall feel of the place and the location. 1 night stop over for business. The room itself and bed were fine. However it did look as if the carpet could do with a hoover as there were crumbs both in my room and up the stairs. The reception team were ok but seemed stretched. Location is great for central Amsterdam.

Whatever the prior complaints were regarding bed comfort appears corrected! This was the tail end of a 3-country visit and was the most comfortable sleep we had by far! Great bedding, etc. Executive room was roomy, clean (including maintenance in between) and every staff

Hi guys, cruise ships come into Amsterdam on the Ij river to the east of central station. Roemer hotel is to the south of the centre and so you'd need to catch a bus to Central Station (or walk 10 minutes) and then a tram to Leidseplein. Roemer is a few minutes walk from the tram stop. Airport to hotel is an express bus: number 397 to Leidseplein. Every 10 minutes. Tickets from a red van near to the bus stop. Yes, Roemer allows luggage to be stored.

Please ask the Roemer to send pics of what quad rooms, bunk beds etc they offer, that way if it isn't what you get, you have a right to complain. The annex has rooms overlooking the garden, the Park and in the near distance the Rijks Museum.

I am positive that the staff will try to fulfill your wishes. I have no idea of the cost. Why don't you just email them and see what they say? I found them to be very helpful

We stayed in the Annex with friends. We were on the ground level & had a small garden. They were on the floor above us & had a balcony.
