These cute little rooms are all you need, clean and neatand in my favourite neighbourhood of Amsterdam. The price is also affordable with friendly staff. The top room are quite a shlep if you have a lot of luggage but worth it for the little view over the rooftops of Amsterdam. I would stay there again next time in Amsterdam.

I'll start with the positive. A nice reception staff. There, that's it. Out of the hotel's rooms are too small for much more than a bed. Ours was one of the best, in that it had a stool and a plastic chair to accompany our two small single beds. Reception is always closed with everything managed from the Hotel Iris...

Honestly this is the worst place I have ever been to. Ignore the pictures, they are nothing like it, it is literally a box with an ill fitted bed shoved against the wall, you can just about turn around. By private bathroom it means a toilet cubical with a shower head, with no place to hang anything. Asked for a...

We was in the attic in a small room. No lift and a narrow stair case to go up. Room was very small 2 single beds we moved them together and under the bed had never been cleaned. The mattress was the most uncomfortable one ever in my life. And we was 45 minutes away by walk from city center.

The rooms were very small. The reception was temporarily closed, so we The have to cross the road and walk for 2 minutes to another hotel to check in. We paid 382 Euros for a double room for 3 nights, although we booked well in advance. The room was very small, the toilet was placed in the shower, that is...

The reception is not located in the hotel, so you have to cross the road and walk for 2 minutes to another hotel nearby to check in. The reception is unfortunately only open until 10pm which is not awesome. They were very helpful, so I am happy with that. Free baggage holding service after you checkout. The room is tiny,...

To start with, we stayed in Hotel Max and not Hotel Iris as the feedback email mentions. This was the worst experience i have ever faced. We travel a lot, infact this time we are traveling all over Europe & stayed in many hotels & apartments but this was just not acceptable. There are 3 hotels run by the same...

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel a lot excepting an inconvenient detail below. The room was very clean and cosy; personnel was friendly; breakfast was tasty and substantial; bikes were comfy to ride. A lot of travellers note the small rooms' size but after travelling in Korea it was big enought for us haha Disadvantage: we were living actually...

The hotel and the rooms were pretty small but very clean and modern. The location was a bit to the side from the central Amsterdam but the distance was quick to walk. There was a market nearby and some restaurants and cafes. The views were awesome from the window and the atmosphere in all was great. For the check-in and...

Staying in De Pijp

Neighbourhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
