My boyfriend and I stayed here last weekend and had an amazing time. The staff were all so friendly and even found me an adapter for my plug as I had forgot mine. The breakfast was good and room very clean. We even found some good channels on the tv one night! Lovely hotel and we would definitely return.

This is a gem of a small hotel right in the middle of town, within easy walking distance to all highlights. It is right on the shore of the Amstel river and the ambience is very cosy and homy.Rooms are small but adequate and nicely furnished. The staff is extremely helpful. Got printouts of our boarding passes and were allowed...

this hotel has a great location and very friendly staff. We were walking everythere because most of attractions, shopping malls and night clubs are very closed to this hotel. the breakfast was good to for the small hotel, but the room was very small, we were three and put put our luggage in the middle of room, beacause there was...

Our friends from Germany made this reservation at "Hotel Eureka." They had the top floor family room which was very nice. We had the small room next door -- nice to be so close but our room was a little awkward under an eave but great view. Centrally located, nice area, good breakfast, friendly staff. Needs updating but good value.

I think it's worth shouting about the Amsterdam House Hotel. I've stayed there a few times since 2013, and have now stayed in 3 of their rooms and 1 of their houseboats. The hotel is super cozy, extremely central (near Waterlooplein and Rembrandtplein) and the staff make you feel right at home. I was there both on business and pleasure,...

Room was basic but breakfast was lovely and the view was perfect. A tad overpriced for what is was which was a shame as that took away some of the local friendly feel. Shower room marked and old, same as stairs

I had found all the information I needed about this hotel here on Trip Advisor. I kept reading about the location and how perfect it was, and boy was everyone right! I loved it here! I stayed in a triple bedroom on the 3rd floor facing the canals with my friends. It was amazing. We had a fantastic time. It...

As the title says it is in a great location in the centre of the city, not too far from the main railway station and most attractions. The hotel itself is very tired and could do with a thorough modernisation. The staff are a quirky and friendly bunch and the breakfast is reasonable value - especially if like the heron...

A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in June. The hotel is fantastically located! We took a tram from Central Station and 2 stops later we were stood right in the center of the city opposite the hotel. The hotel is walking distance from many of the city's attractions such as Nine Streets, The Van Gogh Museum, Albert...

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
